Winter

Pics of the ‘local’ winter conditions:

And a waste of resources plowing this up (I didn’t do it):

It’s not a lot of snow, it keeps warming up and melting down. Underneath all of this is about 3″ of ice on the roads.

I wish I lived somewhere where snow still lays on the ground. Here in Western NC we get snow, the news hypes it to sound like a blizard and people buy every last gallon of milk and loaf of bread, and next week repeat the cycle. We haven’t had a snow of more than 2″ in 4 years, and not 12″ (15 years ago we got 4-5 12″+ per year) snow in close to 10 years. The south sucks for so many reasons…

    It’s beautiful!
We never have snow here (in central Georgia), maybe a dusting once a decade or two, barely enough to hide the grass. On the same vein, it used to snow (dust) or ice more often than it has in years. Definitely warmer here now than when I was a boy.

We’ve gotten even more snow lately. It is beautiful, but becomes wearisome after three months. Winter came early this year, I figure we have maybe two more months of the white stuff.
