    There is something wierd going on. It hasn’t been real winter here until about a week ago this season.

    I do however expect a serious backlash from cold water from the Greenland glaciers in February. That’s my prediction, we’ll see if I am right. 😉

    That’s strange isn’t it? I’d expect a lot of cold and snow in Norway right now.

    It’s been bizarre here too, but it’s been a real winter, all in all. Snowing hard now.

    NOT ‘normal’ winter in Montana. Temps are fairly typical but virtually NO snow accumulation. Frostline’ is deeper as a result and will stress many plants and animals without insulation from snow. Snowline right now is between 7000 (North slopes) and 9000 feet (Southern slopes). LIttle snow pack at elevation. Not good for relieving the 10 year drought here either.
