Under The Skin

Here’s a few twilight zone episodes for you, worth watching.

The updated version would include people burning houses down, riots in the streets, murder and assault. All in the span of fifteen minutes.

The human animal is ruthless, self-serving and brutal. The veneer of civility is very thin and easily broken.

    Very good post J.
Humanity Insanity will always prevail as it is today. The only thing left out of this film were all of the dead bodies lying in the homes and streets after the mobs get through justifying their actions. This only shows that talking does noting.
“FEAR” is the only rule followed by humankind. Who do you shoot first?

The NY markets have been open an hour add DOWN 300 points.
Funny how $700 Billion doesn’t make a dent (but the stop at the bottom certainly will). Wonder when we’ll starting seeing those thin shits of veneer coming flying out of windows across Manhattan?

This video gives us much to ponder:
The plot would get a bit more complex if some of these insistent neighbors had
given this latter-day Noah assistance (material or otherwise) in building his shelter (rather than mocking his efforts). It would be then be morally harder to turn them down.

The situation would also get a lot more “complex” and tragic if the doctor had a gun. Time to go down fighting.

Also, what happens when blood relatives (previously scoffers)
show up demanding inclusion? The emotional conflict only intensifies.

What happens to us who have prepared for what’s to come when the
others importune? Decide how we want to die.
