Run For Congress – PLEASE!!

Congress has vowed to convene a special session this weekend to vote on another condemnation of the latest ad. Preliminary polling of the Senate indicates that the condemnation would pass handily with 80 votes for and 20 votes against. This margin guarantees that there would be no veto from the president. Congress Screws Up Again

“Ass-kissing little chickenshits” is a great description of our Congress. They’re too busy to restore habeous corpus, but they’ve got the time to condemn the MoveOn.org ad, and convene yet another special session of Congress to do it all over again a second time.

Good grief. Every last one of these lazy bastards should be fired. I can barely believe this level of bullshit is operating in the world’s only remaining ‘superpower’.

Hah! Isn’t it amazing? Nothing Congress ever promises (under any Administration) never comes to pass. This Congress is only different because they have been characterized as being the weakest Congress in American history. They are so incredibly out of touch with the American people that they might as well be foreigners born in a different land in a different century.

    Run FOR Congress? I’m too busy running FROM Congress! Actually, that’s literally true – I live in the DC suburbs right now and am working on moving away from the area.

    I was hoping that Run for Congress would mean either:

    a) Running for office, almost anybody could do a better job then the current cowards we have now;

    b) Run for Congress and bitch slap them into submission to the will of the people.

    Take your pick. I suggest we do both.

    Really like your b) admin.
    How about a c) Wet their lips and stick them on the wall.

    It would be interesting and enlightening to see/have real people in Congress. Someone who has truly “been there and done that” in life.
    Not the silver spoon’s we have now.

    Unfortunately it’s the one(s) with the most amount of money that’ll probably win. I’ve watched elections for over 35 years now and it usually turns out the same way. “Oh, this one will make a difference” “Oh, this one promised this or that” “Oh, we need a change and surely this one will deliver it”

    Hasn’t happened in my lifetime and I suspect it never will.
