Well done. I especially like the parts about the wetiko. It’s like we’re trapped in a horror movie, being chased down by a lunatic with a chainsaw. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Even if wetiko can’t take you over, you still have to live with it all around you.
If there’s no warming, why do you need geoengineering?

We are all very much plugged into the “Matrix” of civilization. For those who want to escape, there is no easy path forward. The comments section reminds me of the character “Cypher”, who agreed to turn over Morpheus in exchange for being plugged back into the Matrix. It’s clear most people aren’t going back to pre-industrial revolution times and will drag us all over the cliff with every techno fix employed until the bitter end.
Wow – I am surprised it’s that high. Maybe there’s more of us than we thought.
[T]he share of the U.S. population that Gallup categorizes as “Concerned Believers” on climate change has consequently reached a new high of 50%. This is up slightly from 47% in 2016 but is well above the 37% recorded only two years ago.

Well, if I ever needed any proof that the wetiko was real, there’s this:
U.S. To Escalate Its Two Years War On Starving Yemen:

Everything that’s going in the world today, and starving Yemen actually manages to become a key priority of two of the wealthiest nations on earth.
20,000,000 people are starving to death right now in Yemen, Somalia, Nigeria. It is the worst humanitarian crisis in 70 years and yet you won’t hear almost anything about it. However, “war” sells. It’s good for American business. It’s also faketriotic.
I wish I had time to read it all and comment but things are literally beyond hectic here at the moment. So much going on I let apples get eaten by birds and fall to the ground -which is just not me.
I’ll be back when the ‘time crisis’ is over.
Good luck on the apples! I have a real hard time salvaging a decent crop. Raccoons and birds get their share. Just bought some organic Granny’s at the store, $2.99 per pound, nearly $15 for one bag!
