More Inaction From Global Leaders
EXPERT VIEWS-G7 climate commitments judged too weak to bag COP26 success
My take on this: More empty posturing. More useless “promises”. More delays, more inaction. More business-as-usual.
NONE of the world’s leaders and countries are actually serious about mitigating climate change. In fact, most, if not all, climate change organizations are not serious either. So while these leaders and organizations get a bit of press, know this: Nobody is taking this seriously as the world continues to warm up.
Bogus claims of “net-zero” will continue to dominate climate change news, but this is just propaganda. There is no such thing as net-zero.
I am taking it seriously. And you, S.A. are taking this seriously.
In fact there are thousands, maybe millions, who are taking it seriously.
But you are absolutely right about all ‘officialdom’: these criminals, clowns and saboteurs are only interested in two things:
1. perpetuating unsustainable Ponzi arrangements for as long as possible
2. extracting as much fictional wealth as possible for themselves in the short term, even if doing so will cause their lives to be prematurely terminated by all the factors they refuse to address.
I was given 10 minutes by the local council to present the 100% certain case that the entire system will collapse before 2030, and that major disruption is more than likely before the end of this year. 88 pages of documentation and commentary.
To cover the factors properly would have taken at least an hour, and I did suggest to them that a 4-hour time slot be allocated in the near future.
I also pointed out that there are two ways to learn: the easy way, and the hard way.
I have little doubt that the local council will continue to squander rapidly declining resources on projects, enterprises and facilities that have no future beyond 2025 (if that).
But now the onus is on them, not me. They have been warned in very specific terms -energy decline, Planetary Meltdown and the imminent failure of Ponzi finance.
I have much to do to prepare for the meltdown of current economic arrangements, which is underway.
We’ll know around October whether the western US survives the mega-drought to another year, or whether it’s all over by Christmas.
I’ve been super-busy over recent weeks, what with council stuff and my own preparations. But was very concerned when I got an ‘error 404’ when I tried to access S.A.

I am absolutely, 100% convinced that America is OVER. Moves towards overt fascism are happening at a breathtaking pace now, and the Orange Turd isn’t even in office. Fully one-half of the U.S. Government is now trying to overthrow the U.S. Constitution, and the other half is standing around with their dicks in the hands doing scant little about it. And that’s just the political scene here, from what I’ve read in other news around the world, there is little hope for humanity to survive the crowd of fools and idiots that are running the show. And the ‘rest of humanity’ is just along for the ride it seems. We’re powerless to change the outcome because we are totally dependent upon the survival of civilization.
There is no doubt whatsoever that the hard way will be the only way in the future. For some people (millions), it’s already a reality, they already know extreme hardship and brutal reality. These people are being ignored by most, derided by the rest and helped by a few. As they grow in number, I can only guess what will happen.
I knew this day was coming. Resource collapse, environmental collapse and greed will wipe out the slack in the system, leaving only brutality behind. Abundance is what really brought democracy, justice, fairness (such as it was) and ‘plenty’, take abundance away and predatory practices and indifference will rule the days of our remaining lives. There is no room for the weak, the poor, the elderly or the infirm in this unfolding world. The young stupidly think they’re going to ‘compete’ for what is left. Hah! Not likely unless they’re rich, favored, the right skin color (let’s just face it – white), and utterly ruthless.
