It’s Just Another Grift
The news cycle is quick to remind the reading public that Donald Trump is going to “announce” his intentions to run for President in the 2024 election. Most of us hope not.
Let me be the first to say it (prediction time): It’s just another grift by Trump, about Trump, for Trump. He doesn’t give a goddamned about anything else, just himself. He hates America and Americans. If you haven’t figured that out yet, you’re definitely not paying attention. He’s going to fleece the same flock of fools for millions of dollars more, and then pull out of the Presidential race. He’ll never even be on the ticket when it’s all said and done, but that won’t stop the seemingly endless flow of cash into his pockets.
A fool and his money are soon parted….
He’s already trying to capitalize on Ivana Trump’s death. I’m in good company that believe the wrong Trump died. We can’t be rid of this lying megalomaniac monster soon enough. We’re all still waiting for the indictments to materialize after his attempted subversion of the US Constitution, but I’d be happy if he was just dead and gone and he took his deluded cult with him.
Unsatisfied with the revelations coming from the January 6th committee, there is now a movement afoot to prosecute the investigators should the Republicans “take charge” again this November. The cover-up (and panic) continues, as many of these traitorous bastards have now been fully named and their involvement in subverting the 2020 election.
It seriously couldn’t get much worse, but I’m quite confident it most certainly will. It’s been a truly hectic (and horrific) month where we’ve seen all kinds of dirty politics unfold (all over the world). It’s almost as if these scummy cockroaches are scurrying for the corners and trying to avoid the light of truth and discovery. We’ll all just have to wait and see how far they get, and how much more damage they can yet do.
America has been inflicted with a grievous wound, one which will be with us for a long, long time. Trump may be the figurehead of this disease, but the reality is it was already here all along. He just gave it purpose and a direction, but the body politic was already very sick before his timely arrival. The cancer is still growing, metastasizing and turning uglier and uglier and still threatens to be terminal for the country.
Don’t let that be you. Run the other way, away from this tumorous mass of maggot morons and fools that have abandoned all thoughts of reason, logic, facts, evidence and decency. They’re ravenously devouring the rotting flesh of the Republic in an ecstasy of stupefied gluttony, stripping out the bones and the institutions that gave this country structure and meaning.
