The Drudgereport today shows a picture of a TSA employee groping a nun’s groin with the caption “The Terrorists Have Won”….
Hehe, I’m sorry, but my first thought was “oh my god”…. you’d have to be pretty stupid to think that this has anything to do with terrorism.
It took groin groping to wake people up to what has happened to our airports since 9/11 and that damnable Patriot Act.
But even this is not yet enough for us to say “enough”.
A) STOP FLYING!
I already know that this won’t cause hardly anyone to follow these basic suggestions. But I sure wish they would. Listen, we need to start somewhere and it sure as hell isn’t in the ballot box.
Americans are so unbelievably indoctrinated and apathetic to their slavery that it boggles the mind. They’ll need to take some baby steps first before they realize that they really don’t have to take this shit anymore.
You REALLY NEED TO START SCREAMING FROM THE ROOFTOPS on this one. Why? Because finally there is a little bit of public uproar, something long, long overdue in this country.
They passed that damnable Patriot Act and few really complained. Now the Obama Administration is claiming the right to kill any American anywhere in the world and still, few complain.
The Obama administration today argued before a federal court that it should have unreviewable authority to kill Americans the executive branch has unilaterally determined to pose a threat. Government lawyers made that claim in response to a lawsuit brought by the American Civil Liberties Union and the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) charging that the administration’s asserted targeted killing authority violates the Constitution and international law. The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia heard arguments from both sides today.
“Not only does the administration claim to have sweeping power to target and kill U.S. citizens anywhere in the world, but it makes the extraordinary claim that the court has no role in reviewing that power or the legal standards that apply,” said CCR Staff Attorney Pardiss Kebriaei, who presented arguments in the case. “The Supreme Court has repeatedly rejected the government’s claim to an unchecked system of global detention, and the district court should similarly reject the administration’s claim here to an unchecked system of global targeted killing.”
But this groin grope is something that affects the daily life of millions of Americans — so speak up (finally) and refuse.
Just exactly when will Americans start refusing / objecting to tyranny? Never?
“If the Constitution means anything, it surely means that the president does not have unreviewable authority to summarily execute any American whom he concludes is an enemy of the state,”
If not now, then when? When they declare you an enemy of the state?
When they disappear your neighbor? Or maybe you? How’s that going to work out?
