Ye ol’ Deekster was recently forced to shut down NewsNet7. Can’t get anyone to help support his net presence. Anyone interest in sponsoring NN7 ? (the developed content isn’t permanently lost yet). $30 for a low bandwidth site isn’t too much too take – by itself – but he now has 6 sites and FKN is high bandwidth. No one ‘supports’ it either – or / – nadda. It’s both real entertainment and infonotional but virtually everyone seems to think it’s free forever for the taking. NTM his investment in audio/video processing gear and effects software and studio and his time. So “join” FKN and/or TAO and/or buy a lesson, Tee, CD, DVD, something. How many here could dedicate 3 days every single week to creating illuminated content (going on 6 years now) and have nothing but bills to show for it? Oh, and be sure to check out The Very (ir)Reverend Ordono Mundi’s regular SUNday services. The choir will gladly sing for free – or for as long as the heat stays on.

update- I spoke too soon – appears as tho a ‘buyer’ (supporter) for NN7 has been found at least as of this morning anyway – we’ll see how that works.

I sent him a donation, Deek is doing great work.

This blog site is now running me $60 a month and takes up the far larger lions share of the domain bandwidth.

Over 85,000 page views this month already for the blog, for October, 147,000 for the blog.

I don’t know why people seem to think stuff is free. I’m now pinching off the bandwidth hogs on a routine basis (banning IP addresses) as a “must”. I’m already 20 gigs past my limits and need to find ways to restrict usage.
