Now you know why Congress doesn’t listen to anything that the American people (peons) want (or need). They are just as beholden to monied interests as Wall Street is to fleecing your pockets. The notion that these creeps represent any of us is highly offensive.

Haven’t written much lately. Blog response here is near-zero, so I’m thinking nobody wants to read what I’ve been posting. I continue to self-educate and read history, science, news and informed opinions around the world, and I’m fully persuaded that we are going to utterly fail to save ourselves from our own hubris. The mechanisms that we have set in motion are as immutable as the planets revolving around the Sun, and there is nothing on Earth that is going to stop this now. Not even OWS.

One clown who I recently met is utterly convinced that the OWS protest will lead to martial law. Maybe. But if it does, then what does that actually mean? It would be no different in reality then before — protect the status-quo at all costs.

Your life would be only a bit different. Roadblocks, ID checks and rationed food and fuel would take place. But that’s not really much different then things are now. 45 million people are on food stamps already. All these things would be deemed “necessary” for “your protection” of course and to enable the country to retain some sort of “equilibrium”. But it is dead obvious even to the most obtuse that the equilibrium of the country is far from stable these days.

I’m seeing a catastrophic decline in “consumer confidence” (consumption and spending), job security, and huge increases in homelessness and near-starvation levels of existence for more and more Americans all the time. The country is in another Great Depression but almost nobody is willing to put that into print. We’re still being badly distracted and severely divided from focusing on the real truth of what is going on.

We’re all in a gigantic pressure cooker, with the “steam” being vented with more and more (useless) protests. While I do support the growing dissent (and it’s LONG overdue, this country has needed a major wake-up for decades), I have never supported the notion that marches and sign waving will change anything of significance.

Recently, the OWS movement was claiming that they’d “stopped the Bank of America from levying the $5 monthly fee” that BOA had initiated to their customers.  Some BOA customers were then interviewed about this and most said that they’d go ahead and stay with the bank since BOA rescinded this decision. Do you understand what this means?  It means the price for their financial freedom was a lousy $5.  They utterly failed to connect the banking system with their own slavery.

This is what I mean by how Americans are so unbelievably willing to settle for less. Just give them crumbs and they’ll lap it up like the good sheep-dogs that they are. They’ll even “police the flock” themselves with “see something, say something” mentality that turns American against American. They’re cheaply bought, cheaply maintained and cheaply convinced that protecting and maintaining the status-quo — the very system that has led many of them into bankruptcy and millions now into homelessness, is (still) worth “protecting”.  They can’t see that the entire system is utterly corrupt and compromised from the top to the bottom, starting with the President to the lowest of lowly slaves, all engaged in protecting and maintaining the status-quo.

Speaking of the Prez… lots of people are convinced he’s actually the secret son of Malcom X. There is also the whole birth-certificate thing still raging and a new one I hadn’t seen until today, the “identity swap“.

Whatever. If any of this were true, yes it would be illegal and a violation of the Constitution. But — when did any of that matter?  We’re still blowing people up in illegal wars by the tens of thousands and the Constitution and the rule of law lay tattered and shredded on the sidelines. We can’t stop or prevent this either.  Not yet.

Anyone that truly believes we are operating under the Constitution or the Bill of Rights has not been paying attention. There is a reason why they call this the Constitution of No Authority. Those that insist we are “under Constitutional law” are ill-informed. Nobody actually is, not even the U.S. Government. And this is one of the basic reasons why we do not actually operate under Constitutional law. Moreover, the many exemptions given to Courts, Agents, and Official persons (duplicity) is well known. They boldly declare themselves exempt and there is (nearly) nothing you can do about it.

So what do you try to focus on?  That’s a real conundrum. The people have utterly lost control of their country, Congress is inept and indifferent and the so-called “rule of law” only serves to protect the guilty wearing cloaks of “authority” whose mission in this life seems to be to lord over everyone else. These self-appointed task masters really do not care what you think or believe. Go ahead and “protest”.  They are all primarily interested in what you actually do.

What you do is becoming increasingly more regulated and restricted. If you want to do something, like protest, then you need a permission slip. If you want to fly, then you must provide identity and be checked for terrorist activities. If you want to work, then you need a license in many professions. If you want to drive, use a bank, or enter a stadium, you must provide government-approved “proof” of who you say you are and even submit to random pat-downs. All of course to “protect you” from the invisible boogey-men allegedly lingering in our midst.

Americans have long found these restrictions acceptable, forgetting the basic notions of freedom and liberty. They have long submitted to a long train of intrusive actions and demands by their appointed task-masters. They willingly give up over half of their yearly incomes to taxes and fees to even pay for the dubious “privilege” of being “protected”.  Few really bother to complain beyond token protests. The brainwashing techniques that are utilized through schools, media and government propaganda are so pervasive and all-inclusive that the individual that objects is quickly identified as a “kook”. These men and woman are ostracized and isolated from the fellow Americans as troublemakers. Many have now been assassinated and killed outright. American prisons are overflowing with political dissidents that have objected in one way or another to the march of Empire.

It’s now late 2011 — do you know where your kids are?  Do you know what they are marching into? Do you even care?

I read and I read and I read, absorbing as much as I can as time permits. Our world is crazy-insane.  Why do I say such things?  Because the true history of the world demonstrates this over and over again.

I’m still digesting the book, “The World Without Us”. Already we have left a lasting legacy, virtual time-bombs in the truest sense of the word, that will be ticking away for millions and millions of years.  Things like gigantic petrochemical poison fields, scattered all over the planet, lakes of toxic stew left in the open and in once “sealed” containers already found to be leaking their vitrolic brew.

Dioxins and PCB’s, nuclear waste disposals and radioactive leaks are now all over the world. Gigantic toxic sludge ponds, ash heaps and mountainous chains of poisonous debris covers thousands of square miles of the planet’s surface. The list of our evil legacy is almost endless, and I think to myself, “Wow… we don’t have that right” to do all this.  Nobody has the right to condemn all future generations of humanity, indeed the entire world, to deal with our unbelievable folly and carelessness and the refuse of our so-called “civilization”. But we’re still doing it anyway.

These things are ticking time bombs, already contaminating and destroying large swaths of the planet, leaking into the air, groundwater, soil and oceans. We don’t know how to contain them now, but put these troublesome thoughts into the back of our minds, leaving them for our children to try and solve. But it’s already a given that they won’t be able to solve them either, because we have already unleashed a virtual torrent of destruction upon them all.

What does this mean? Read the book. We’re self-destructing faster and faster and we cannot seem to stop ourselves. Our debt-based economy and need for constant consumption has virtually condemned us all. Many of you don’t know this yet, still believing that we will overcome our hubris somehow. I don’t believe that anymore. I don’t think we can because we lack what it takes. This lack is buried very deep within us, written in our genes. It’s what gave rise to our preeminence over other species, but it is also leading to our downfall.

Many of the issues today that we ponder seem so utterly pointless, simply because there are so very many really big and serious issues overshadowing everything else. But few seem to even care. I find myself less and less “connected” to the mundane things of life, the petty disputes and squabbles that seem to be so much in evidence. I really could care less about these things, they are meaningless and distracting for the most part.

But that’s just me, and I’m only one. Being concerned about the bigger issues that face us all has not helped. Let me say that again.  It has not helped. The issues are still there and they’re still getting worse, daily.  My every attempt to share this burden through writing has not made any difference that I can detect.

Consider how former Bush-bots declare their upset at all the Executive Orders passed by Obama, conveniently forgetting the legacy of death and destruction and executive orders passed by the former president. Where the hell were these people when the bombs were being dropped? Oh yeah, they were cheering on the sidelines as babies and mothers were being systematically murdered.

We get upset when one of our cherished beliefs or our champions are challenged or upset. We’re taught to join one side or the other, ignoring our manipulation and how this has always been done to us, so that the real agenda of maintaining the status-quo goes effectively unchallenged.

I don’t belong to any political party. I don’t toe the politically correct line (on anything I hope). I don’t believe that the government or the politicians or the corporations own my soul.  I don’t believe that I have to do anything that they demand.  I don’t believe the lies they preach or the deceptions they practice. I think that these evil people are destroying us all. They cling to lies and deceptions, practicing both with cunning and craftiness, perfected by hundreds of years of practice (in this country alone, but this goes back thousands of years now).

They do this willingly and knowingly, hoping you remain stupid enough and ignorant enough to simply believe what you’re told. And do what your told. Your very thoughts are the products of their intentions. Your belief systems, including your religion, is their craftiness. Your actions, even on a daily basis, is the result of carefully planned and orchestrated designs. You buy what they sell, you eat what they produce, you read what they write and you even sleep where they demand. Of course they own you, every fiber of your being, how could it be any different?

Civilization and all that it is today, is the result of what they have dictated to us all. That is a provable fact and don’t ever forget it, because it is key to understanding why we are in such a predicament today.

It was THEIR hubris, their arrogance and indifference that caused all of this. Not mine. I had little to nothing to do with it. I did not support their wars or their pollution. I did not join in to their cause of contribute to their efforts.  But I, like you, was and still am, being held hostage to their demands.

I think much of the world is crazy-insane. The late George Carlin did too. He managed to make a nice living from his brand of humor, depicting the crazy-insane world that he lived in with a grace that I lack.  I don’t make that much of a living from my efforts, but that doesn’t really matter to me. What matters is again, what’s most important? I’m not all that important, I don’t want any limelight, any followers, any fame or any special importance placed upon me.  I just want to live in a sane world that embraces life, not death. But this eludes me, the world that I inhabit loves death and destruction, it’s evidenced in absolutely everything that we do.

This of course, puts me at “odds” with the status-quo. So be it, I really don’t care. They’re crazy and I know it. Their insane and I know it. They exhibit very dangerous delusional behavior and I know it.  How do I know this is true? How do I know this is right and I’m not the one who’s wrong? Go look at their behavior. Go look at what they are doing. I have always said to always look at what people do. You will know them by their actions, not their words. Their actions are all leading to death. And they don’t care either.

It should be well obvious by know that the world is being run by sociopaths. The very nature of a sociopath is to take control over others, and in our society, we reward those that rise to the top, even if they are dangerously deluded. Their actions are what governs much of our world — making money, beating the competition, and expanding each little empire until collectively, they have now encompassed the entire Earth. Which then causes them to try and overwhelm each other.

This is the actions now by which we are all being subjected to. You are just a little tiny cog in their machinations. Their cause has become our cause, because they now control our very existence. To demonstrate this point, imagine if the agricultural giants suddenly collapsed. What would you eat?  What if the oil companies suddenly ran out of oil? How would you even exist?  Everything depends on oil, food, water, lights, transportation, shipping. What if they suddenly stopped right now?

We have all become dependent upon their continued existence. Personally, I find this unsettling, because their existence is actually one of the leading causes of our collapse. They’re destroying the Earth very quickly now as evidenced by environmental collapse all over the world. It’s a Catch-22 situation, but only because we allowed ourselves to be snookered into this. It didn’t use to be this way and now, well quite frankly, now it’s too late.

Look around if you dare. Examine what is going on around you, in your town and in your city. Look at what your country is actually doing. What do you find? There is some evidence of life, but there is a preponderance of evidence of death. Environmental destruction is death. War is death (duh). Insatiable consumption is death. Pollution is death. Overfishing is death. Acid rain is death. Wall Street is death. Where do you think all that money came from that made all these evildoers rich? This represents an awful lot of losers, and “investors” who must now find a means to survive after having been fleeced by these sociopaths.

The world has finite limits, which have long been exceeded several decades ago, but we’re unwilling to admit to it. The growing number of environmental refugees is hugely increasing by the day.  Current production levels continue to drop as we strip-mine the world’s resources clean. Our monetary system is in free-fall because a debt-based economy cannot possibly last. Nor can a civilization lasts that refuses to admit to its tragic mistakes.

We’re here, we’re still here, simply because of one thing now: momentum. Like a freight train that has run out of fuel, its barely slowing down, but still barreling ahead. The inertia and power in motion is absolutely massive, and the brakes aren’t working. If there is enough track, the passengers will survive as the train finally slows and stops, otherwise they won’t. The crash will be cataclysmic, even Apocalyptic.

The very basis of our civilization, how we live, how we extract the things we need for survival, how we raise our food, obtain our water, drive our cars, build our cities, pave our roads, power our homes and factories, it is all predicated upon the environment itself and its ability to absorb our impacts and provide us with the raw materials for our consumption. These things are not infinite, they are limited and they are finite. How we use them, even when we use them, is important to us all. And they are absolutely saturated with our effects and demands, there is little slack left now.

This isn’t news to readers of this blog, but it’s still important. We want to live, don’t we?  We want to survive, right?  Or do we not?  Our civilization is saying a big, fat “No” to both of these questions, while going through the motions that we do want to survive. But our very actions are leading us all to a death of civilization beyond our individual abilities to control. This is wrong in so many ways that it boggles the imagination.

We are going to continue to slide into the Abyss if we don’t finally wake up to what is happening all around us. It is so much more then banking corruption, war, homelessness, or political machinations. It’s everything now. We don’t have the right to take everything and everybody down with us. Nobody does. But unless you can divorce yourself from this Titanic, then you’re going to go down too, a fact that is now happening to millions and millions of Americans that failed to heed these warnings.

The stern is already pointed very high up in the air and we are sliding now beneath the icy waves. Get off the ship by any and all means possible. Now. Prepare your families and yourself to live as independently as possible. Learn how to survive without the chains of dependency that have governed our lives for so long. In the end, you will not only be helping yourself, but everyone else too.
