Biometric Cards – Again

Senator Lindsey Graham thinks that every American should have a plastic biometric card to prevent illegal hiring of ‘illegals’. Except of course, it won’t work.

Employers need a system they can rely on to determine the legal status of potential workers, so Graham said he plans to introduce a bill this fall to replace all Social Security cards over the next 10 years at a cost of $8 billion to $10 billion. The new cards would be tamperproof. Promoting Biometrics

‘Illegals’ will be hired with or without social security cards, biometric ‘tamper proof devices’ or implanted nose rings. Until the inequality of opportunities is addressed, biometrics won’t accomplish a thing except harass Americans.

Which is, of course, the real goal here.

    “Citizen, your papers please.”
“Why, you have no proof of paying your ‘Patriotic American Homeland Right To Work Permit’. I’m afraid we must detain you indefinitely, without charge or trial, until we can investigate this matter further….”
