Over 60 Billion Gallons of Fuel Lost

More than 60 billion gallons of fuel erupted in a ball of flames hundreds of feet in the sky, creating an acrid cloud of smoke which is stretching for miles and moving south-eastwards.

This will have world-wide impacts. 60 billion gallons is a lot of fuel.

The cause of the explosions is not yet known but no third party – a plane or a terrorist – was involved.

That’s strange. They don’t know the cause, but they are already reporting that it was not related to terrorism. Not sure what this means just yet – other then bad reporting. Another example of this erroneous reporting:

In total, 20 petrol tanks were involved, each said to hold three million gallons of fuel.

60 billion – or it is 60 million? I checked (just in case they edit their page) – the first report says 60 billion.
