Planned Population Reduction

I think it is becoming abundantly clear that massive population reductions are soon ahead. The worldwide food crisis situation is only worsening.

Only a radical change of diet can halt looming food crises

India rice export prices up again

High Rice Cost Creating Fears of Asia Unrest

I’d like some input on how everyone else sees this unfolding. I’m going to step out on a limb and categorically state that a population reduction will commence pretty soon. The preservation (and distribution) of assets will triumph over human rights to clean air, clean water and sufficient food.

It would not be hard to argue that this is already occurring in many parts of the world, but what I’m talking about here is really something else — a whole step above the genocide and destruction we’ve seen in the last ten years.

How do you suppose it will happen (or will it, from your perspective)?

My thoughts:

a) military interventionism (creating and fostering unnecessary wars, something America is really good at doing);

b) disease outbreaks;

c) withholding food distribution;

d) climate change will cause massive crop failures and starvation (not something we are “actively doing”, but it will be a huge factor nonetheless, only included here since it will be a big part of population reduction);

e) resource withholding (energy stocks, fertilizer stocks, industrial equipment);

f) GMO seeds (”Terminators”) and hybrid crops;

e) Pollinators (bees, birds, bats, etc.) being killed off due to disease or design.

Ultimately, I think food will be the #1 primary weapon (and fresh water). Water wars are heating up all over the globe, but some relief can be found from rainwater harvesting (hard to stop this). Food reduction and restrictions will be a big factor, along with disease and pandemic outbreaks (most efficient method for population reduction).

I do not rank terrorism anywhere on this list because I do not believe that terrorism will play a real factor at all. Nor do I personally rank nuclear war on this list either, as I do not personally believe this is presently much of a threat, but maybe some of you won’t agree with that.

There might be a false-flag terrorist attack, anything to get us to invade Iran or some such nonsense (or anyplace else where we want to steal resources, like Venezuela or even Canada - see the new joint military agreement), but I doubt it will kill more then a few thousand at a time. But it would be enough to stampede the sheep again into supporting more Bushit bullshit for a thousand years of war (or the end of all life on Earth as we know it). We’ll see, but I’m ‘looking’ for how population reduction will soon commence in earnest.

We might even see some weird genetic manipulation with human DNA soon, but whether or not this would kill off large numbers of us, I don’t know.

Dealing With Reality

Filed under: General, Collapse — admin @ 11:52 am

I know I’m very biased, especially when it comes to the collapse as a topic that should have been shouted from every headline. By NOT making this publically known, more people will be severely affected by it.

But on the other hand, too many people in “the know” will have created an uncontrollable panic. Our systems simply cannot handle a mad rush of anything, everything would simply break down.

This is the situation I think our masters have been in for a long time and why we are being left in the dark. They know what’s coming and have known for decades. But they’ve never wanted us to know, since it would make things too difficult too quick.

But it’s still strange to read the headlines of today and realize that absolutely NOTHING they are reporting is the least bit meaningful. It’s all inane garbage.

This one: Bush Scolds Congress About Iraq is a sludgereport headline that is meant to grab our attention. The only thing I want to read about Bush is when Congress physically attacks that lying bastard and flays him alive on national television. Nothing else is even worth reporting.

This story does exemplify however my personal position that nothing can be changed. We should be talking about world wide emergency measures and how we can best adapt ourselves. The time to do this is now, but it’s not happening and when it finally does, it will inevitably be too late.

We’re still being broadly ‘entertained’ (stupefied) with inane and ridiculous infotainment. I’m coming to believe something that is going to seem like heresy: this is how it should be because we simply cannot handle the truth in large doses.

We don’t seem capable of being able to deal with large doses of reality, we’d rather cover it all up and call it something else. “Gold plating” reality is something humans really seem to like to do, even paying for the ‘privilege’ of doing this.

Even in the things that we do attempt to deal with that are very real and very serious, we still find that humans tend to “mix it up” with illusion and self-deception. For example, the Iraq War, certainly a very serious matter, and the one our very stupid presidential pretender was scolding Congress about (why don’t they just walk out every time this lying murdering bastard opens his mouth?) is never discussed in terms to what really happened. It’s always predicated upon the common acceptance of a variety of illusions and deceptions.

We’re all supposed to go along with this too. The “official story” of 9/11 for another example is the story of many different illusions and deceptions. The Iraq invasion, genocide and occupation is the bastard child of those illusions.

But these things go much farther back then this. The members for Project For A New American Century deceived themselves into creating a new Pearl Harbor event because of their own self-deception and illusion that America somehow deserved a special place in the world and it did not matter how she got there.

We find that the authors of this report were very much in bed with the Israeli’s and Zionists. And their American co-conspirators have been found to embrace the “end times” illusion that triggered this whole mess.

Recall that I recently wrote that we are in the “power of nothing” and how only the few powerful people are really the ones making the changes in the world. It is their illusions and self-deceptions that we are having to deal with. The mess that they have created.

There are now over a million dead, buried in the ground or burnt to cinders, as a result of these illusions and deceptions that these monsters have embraced. We know all this, many of us knew this before it happened. But there are still millions more people, primarily Americans who still embrace these illusions and deceptions. The reality of the horror that was caused and the blood that was spilled and the incredible destruction that was wrought STILL does not penetrate their self-deceptions.

Amazing, isn’t it? I think it is. A 2×4 across the noggin wouldn’t penetrate their consciousness (or conscience). In fact, you should be deeply frightened by what this signifies. Our ability to self-deceive our own selves, and then go forth and deceive hundreds of millions of others is a power like no other. It is a power that can lead to genocide — and has, many, many times before.

We are not supposed to notice these things but they are evident in how humans treat each other. Now I’m afraid I’ve digressed a bit from my earlier point. Illusions are necessary for humans (modern ones anyway) to live. They keep us in our overbearing numbers, under control. We seem to have a need to be self-deceiving, reality is simply too harsh for us to deal with.

This makes us easily (and often) mislead by those that understand these things. I have long suspected that they are very quick to do so too. In fact, I have gone so far in my own research to discover that they have been doing this for several thousand years. Yes, I am talking about Christianity here. I know where it came from and how it came to be and I know how easy it is to manipulate people into believing anything. It’s been used as a tool to commit genocide again and again and again.

But it does not take religion to make people do unspeakable acts (although it certainly does help a lot). Patriotism is yet another tool that is used to cause people to kill. Fear is another tool.

What do these things all have in common? Illusion and self-deception. None of them are based upon truth or reality, they are based upon illusion and deception, manipulated until it is internalized and externalized.

Long ago, I wrote that people don’t create wars, governments do. I have nothing against the Iraqi’s or Iranians or any other “enemy” I’m told I’m supposed to hate. I find such notions hateful and stupid. I don’t like being manipulated — by anyone, and I really resent it when my government tries to manipulate me and my mind. They’re not only known to lie, they ARE liars — about everything. Nothing that comes from government can be trusted — and I mean NOTHING.

We’re lied to about our economy, about our future, about our consumption, about our population, about our immigration problems, about our elections, about our candidates, about our food supply, about our resources, about every single thing there is. Is it really that bad? Yes it is, and even worse. How do I know? Because I can go look up the facts for themselves and often have.

It’s second-nature now for our government to lie to us about everything. They do this to keep up the illusions and deceptions that they have embraced and created. They think they are helping us and as I noted above — maybe they are. Maybe they are because we can’t handle the truth anymore and have not been able to for a very long time.

I think this is a subject well worth exploring because something seems to keep us all in this perpetual state of self-delusion. Most of us do understand that our government lies to us, and our bosses lie to us, and our neighbors lie to us and we even lie to each other. Most of us understand this and it’s “how the world works”.

But why? What is it about the human condition that finds this so necessary? It can be easily pointed out where this all eventually leads. It’s always leads to a reality check and often costs lives.

Another example of the end result of all this lying is the concept of infinite resources. Only idiots would have denied that a finite planet would never run out of resources. But that is exactly what we deceived ourselves into believing and we’re still doing it!  Are we just idiots, are do we have an incredible ability to continually lie to ourselves?

Why is reality so damnably hard to accept?

I’ll go first — I don’t know. I don’t know why we built our civilization on lies. Why we live lies day in and day out, I only know that we do. And I know that the truth would scare the hell out of people, but what if we had always lived the truth? Would we then have been able to accept reality?

I don’t know that either. I really don’t. I’ve never met anyone, including myself that has always lived the truth. We all have our deceptions and illusions. It’s very hard to shake them all off. What we “think” and perceive isn’t always true. Sometimes these don’t hurt us, sometimes they do. But when we deceive by our positions millions into believing lies, we can do great harm and damage and very often do.

The illusions that we are going to solve our climate crisis or resource shortages is one such damaging illusion. There is very little to zero likelihood we can “solve” this at all, but we’re being told the exact opposite by most researchers. Here is a lie that was based on a lie — we could continually take whatever we wanted without fear of any negative consequences to humankind. That was a HUGE lie, and it’s just as huge a lie to think we can now “fix it”.

But telling this truth, this “unlie” and unraveling the mess we created won’t help either, because it is too late for that (and even this premise needs to be checked, is it really too late? Yes it is). So what do we do?

Nothing. Our response at this time is to do nothing. Is this the best response we can achieve? Yes, I think so, because it really is too late (we’re a good 40 years too late now) and creating a mass panic is the last thing we want.

What does this really then mean? It means like I’ve long said — get the hell out of the way for the coming shit-storm that is about to hit. We cannot “save” anybody now. We cannot fix what is wrong. We cannot warn enough people. We cannot create a groundswell of change. We cannot solve anything now. And we never, ever could, it was just another self-deception and illusion that we embraced when we thought we could.

This is how I read the headlines today. Any headlines. Deek likes to call them headlies. I agree, they’re ALL lying. Screaming about this or that, how to “get ready” or “learn survivalism” or “sustainable living” or how we’re going to get mad finally and “put a stop to all of this”. No we’re not. We’re not going to do ANY of those things now. This is deception and lies and illusion. It is not reality and never was, it’s just as bogus and misleading as everything else I’ve pointed out here.

Wow. Now I really do think that this is all a mouthful that is going to be a bit difficult to choke down for some. Bitter truth in a horse-sized pill. I wouldn’t have it any other way, would you?

What does this then mean? It means that we are no more better off embracing lies or reality now. Sometimes I envy those who haven’t “woken up” as they blissfully go on destroying the planet. They’re not bothered by guilt or regret or any such thing, nor do they spend their time or their money trying to make ready. They’re living their lives, having fun, doing their thing — and none of it makes any difference.

I realize now that none of it could. Nothing is going to make any difference now. This is not “quitting” as some have thought, this is the realization that what will be, will be. The ONLY thing I can do is to choose how my “crash” is going to affect me. This is where personal preparations come in — you are making ready for your crash and how prepared (or not) you will be for it.

Early in this essay, I said that uncontrollable panic is the least desirable outcome because it would make things too difficult too quick. Another bitter pill to swallow — leave them be. Don’t warn them, don’t worry them, don’t try to change their deceptions and their illusions. It won’t do any good anyway.

This is why I’m fading back, scaling down, dropping out bit by bit. Not only is it not my problem what others believe and embrace, it’s not your problem either. And you cannot effectively help them no matter what you do. I don’t care if you conduct a school in survival or sell storable food or teach primitive skills or whatever it is — what will be is what will be. Only those that accept their personal responsibilities for their future and cast off their own illusions and deceptions can be “helped” in any way possible. The rest are just sheep for the slaughter.

We all were at one point, but now we’re sort of dangerous sheep with teeth. I grew my fangs a good twenty years ago when I discovered the lies and deceptions that I’d believed were making me stupid. I taught stupid things that weren’t event true.  Imagine how that made me feel?  But after two decades of sincere and honest effort to wake up the sheep, I have come to see this as a complete waste of my increasingly valuable time.

If anyone has noticed, I’m not even writing this blog for the sheep anymore. My whole tone and emphasis is to work with the other group of people who are somewhere on the same path I am. Why not? The truth that I have tried to expound (as I see it) such as the few control the many is also true here. We cannot serve everyone, this is a impossible task and will quickly wear you down to the nubbin. I don’t think we should even try anymore. We should serve those that we can, and our sphere of influence is really quite small.

Start at home. Deal with reality. Deal with each other. Build your circle, your tribe and keep at bay all the lies and deceptions being spouted off by everyone else. Realize that illusions make their lives bearable (illusion also makes your life bearable). Taking them away won’t help anyone. It’s too late now to fix our planetary problems, the only thing we can really do that will actually be effective is to learn how to cope (adapt) with them and be as ready as we can.

The rest of the world is going to go on with it’s inane headlies and deceptions. Let them. Move on, they live in another world altogether that is soon going to pass away and there is nothing you can do about it. They will die or adapt or become prisoner slaves, it’s not your problem anymore.

If you think this is harsh — start thinking about how your going to act when they come for you. Or when the collapse is at a deep point and starving hordes are demanding what you have. Start growing a backbone now. Start realizing just how strong and unbending you’re going to have to be then. Start doing this now.

I no longer tolerate the bullshit that comes my way, I’ve written about this before. It’s “growing” a bit as some think they can tell me how to conduct my business or my life. They want to pull me back where they are. I’ve been there and I know it’s not accomplishing a damned thing and never can. I’m not trying to be rude here, but collapse does not mean we get to stand still and do the same things over and over and over again, especially when they’re not working and stand absolutely no chance of working. Move on.

Those that want to hold you back aren’t helping any. They’re just dead weight and they don’t even realize it. They’ve yet to come to grips with reality. Illusions and self-deceptions remain more important to them. Fine — let them have them and move on, you can’t help them anyway.

Deal with reality — if you can. I know it’s uncomfortable and very wearisome, but at least it’s the truth. Keep your own illusions if you must, we all have them. Just be sure that they don’t set you up for a great big fall.

They call it paradise, which means you can kiss it goodbye

Anybody seeing any price ‘corrections’ on the land in their area?  Not here, not yet.  I just checked Craigslist, realtors (and homeowners) are just as greedy as ever.  But there is a LOT of land for sale.

Years ago, this was a nice place to live.  Then the whiteman showed up and messed everything up. Now it’s paved, mined and leveled.

Every year, they hold races down on the river, you can hear them clear up here and I’m miles away.  I think this is dumber then shit, but nobody asked me.

All the nice place in the world have been invaded.  Isn’t Victoria Falls in Africa surrounded by developments now?  I remember reading about this as a kid.  It was huge challenge just getting there, now you can order a rhino burger as you watch the water flow.

It’s tragic, deeply disturbing.  Everything we touch we fuck up. I’m not going to ask how this happened, I’m going to ask how come we keep letting this happen?

I’ve lost count of all the places we’ve destroyed.  If it’s paradise, you can kiss it goodbye.  The developers and money grubbers show up and decide to market the view, the water, the air, the wildlife, the remoteness, the wilderness and turn it all into cash to line their pockets.  This is sick, only a sick culture would do such a thing.

I don’t care if it’s inaccessible — let it stay that way, because that is the only way we can keep humans from destroying the place.

None of the places I visited when I was in the Boy Scouts remain.  Whatever forest I climbed and hills and mountains I hiked, they’ve all been taken over by the developers.  I’ll ask it again:  how come we keep letting this happen?

Isn’t anything sacred? Or worth preserving?  I know this is just a rant and I know it’s too late, ha!  I’m the “author of too late”, the dude who keeps claiming it’s all coming down…. damned good thing too, or we’d screw everything else up too. That 40 billion barrels of oil they just found in the Arctic?  I hope it dissolves.

There is no place on Earth today that has not felt our heavy footprint, leaving behind death, destruction, pollution and profits.  The merchants of the Earth have made sure of that and tourists did too.  I’ve got a nice little collection of artifacts (fakes) in my house from around the world.  Indian art, African, South American, pipes, pictures, drums, pottery, paintings, etc, that I enjoy.  But I didn’t go there and get any of it.  It came to me, wherever I was.

I bought it to remind me of the places I’d never been and the cultures that live there. And the tiny hope that it helped some poor exploited bastard make a living.  I knew this Ecuadorian who sold handmade clothing and art.  I bumped into him a few years back (again), but he did not remember me.  I “made his day” as I picked out several items his village had crafted.  I knew I was buying directly from the source, but that’s really rarely the case.

You can go visit a tourist shop anywhere in the world and find inflated price on mass-produced products imported from other countries.  I won’t even go inside.

We’ve traded the experience of paradise for the convenience.  Because we are lazy, fat, slothful and believe that everything should be priced fairly and affordably, including the accessibility for fat slugs.  This is disgusting, a sign of a corrupt culture.

Merchants of the Earth Unite!  Save us from having to walk, run, swim, paddle or hike!  Fly us in air conditioned helicopters to the remotest mountain peaks on the planet!  If it’s pristine - it’s not anymore.

We should go to war with this civilization.  We should tear it down to the bedrock and burn the ashes. We should make sure all the ‘deeds’ wind up there too.  Anybody that thinks they own this place is nuts.

Order Times

Filed under: General — admin @ 9:35 am

On Monday this week, a customer “ordered” me to ship his freight order by Tuesday. It was 90% packed, but something was holding the order up. I did not know what it was and told him so too.

My instructions were to either ship on Tuesday, or refund his money. I refunded his money immediately, since I can’t “order” anyone to ship on any particular day, it doesn’t work that way.  The shipment was cancelled for this customer, but left in place and readdressed to myself. Since I believe having as much food on hand as possible is extremely important now, I was happy to do this.

Today, “my” order shipped, I’ll have it in hand by Friday (it’s now been received).
This is meant to be a lesson for everyone who is exasperated with the delay times. The canneries are going as fast as they can. It is not their fault that everyone waited until the last minute to all order at the same time. I have been warning everyone for at least two years on this blog about this. Having lived through the Y2K rush, I saw what happened then and had hoped to at least reduce this mad rush when it happened again.

The new $500 minimums should help (April 1st) by slowing down the orders. Alpine Aire produced 5000 cans last week, but this is but a dent in their very large backorder. They are shipping January orders at this time. They’ve promised they’d be caught up soon — but I do not believe them and have clearly said so on my shipping times page. They will fill your order as soon as they can, but if you cancel, I’m simply going to have it shipped here.

I give instant refunds, especially when there are no accompanying threats. Merchants are treated very badly all too often by their customers. We get the blame for everything the customer has done. “You CHARGED my credit card” is one I hear all the time. No, I did not. YOU DID. It is very clearly spelled out on my ordering page. You charged yourself by placing the order online. I’ve got a great big warning there now to try and wake people the hell up.

It’s not working.

I am convinced Americans cannot read, nor understand what they read. That’s not my fault either. By going through our check out page, you AGREE that you understand the long shipping times and you agree to abide by our ordering policies, otherwise do not place your order.

I expect customers to accept their personal responsibilities when they enter into a legal agreement to make a purchase. But it’s gotten so busy now with the canneries all being maxed out, that it needs to be clearly spelled out. So READ what is there, it’s for your protection and understanding.

In other related news — I dropped the entire line of Mountain House single cans. This would included all of the Year Units I created from Mountain House from single cans, 60 day units, etc,. The reason for this is the same — Mountain House has fallen behind on filling dealer orders as well as customer orders. My backlog is big enough, I do not want anymore. They’ll refill my supply shelves as soon as they can (I have a warehouse here) and I will fill all these orders. But that’s it. I am not going to carry single cans (or pouches) anymore either. You will now have to buy complete case quantities of Mountain House from now on.

There will be other items to “drop out” as time goes on. I’ve now dropped over 200 items since the first of the year. When I say that a crisis has developed in the food industry, I’m not kidding.

The global food rush is well underway now. Managing the rush has now become a top-priority. Other businesses will try to absorb the huge order volume, but I’m guessing from past experience, it won’t work. Delay times will just keep increasing. It’s like a garden hose, it just doesn’t matter how much pressure there is, the volume of water pushed through will remain the same.

The dozen or so canneries that exist (in the entire nation) are maxed out. If you’ve waited to buy food, run down to Costco with your checkbook and load up. Don’t forget to stop at the hardware store garden supply and buy your seeds too.

I think the “human culling” is about to begin in earnest. I think we’ve been told about this for decades too. The Club of Rome reported that there was a need to reduce human population by over 5 billion. There are many other reports out claiming the same thing. I think the elite have known about resource shortages for a long time and now that this day is upon us, they will implement the plans they have been working on for decades.

I used to think they didn’t care or didn’t know, or thought they could prevent this, now I don’t. Now I’m absolutely convinced that they have been planning for this for a long time. The present economic crisis being a part of that.

I also think they’ve known about severe climate change just as long and fully realized way back that it was unstoppable, and the predictions and projections regarding overpopulation and resource shortages. Collapse will serve their ends, no doubt. We’re all going to be their victims, but unlike a helpless victim, we’ve been a complicit part of this our entire lives.

This isn’t the place for another essay, so I’ll keep this short. Cancel your order at your own peril.

Influenza

Here’s a map of how severe the influenza has been in the country: CDC Influenza

Click on the “previous” link to see just how bad it was. In the week of February 23rd for example, it covers the entire nation at the highest “widespread” level. I’ve been suspecting that it was “epidemic” and it looks like I’m right.

Digging a bit further:

The proportion of deaths attributed to pneumonia and influenza was above the epidemic threshold for the tenth consecutive week.

Click on the “Flu Activity & Surveillance” link and check the range of dates.

I have personally heard from many people from all over the country. And those that have tried to call and talk to me realize how bad it is for me. This morning I was coughing up blood. But I think it was from yesterday’s severe coughing attacks I had. I did talk to the nurse, nobody can get through to a doctor it seems, and I’m keeping an eye on it.

Priestly Garments

Early adopters to any new idea have always been ridiculed. A round earth made no sense to people that could see that it was flat. But they failed to consider the dawning and setting of the sun, explaining it away with overtly simple explanations that were dead wrong.

The airplane, automobile and many other ideas were also laughed at, “Impossible!” they’d say. Traveling over 35 miles and hour and a man couldn’t catch his breath and he would die. Flying like a bird was against God. Even translating the Bible into the common language was a mortal sin. They made sure of that too, since they’d kill you if you tried.

Undaunted, these early adopters went ahead and did it all anyway, and many did pay with their lives. So they sailed off the edge of the seas, and built their airplanes and drove their automobiles and the rest is history as they say.

We’re making history too, right here on this blog. We all are. Early adopters for the crash, ridiculed, misunderstood and considered heretics. I liken these detractors to the “Flat Earth” people. They cannot perceive the changes coming. To them, their personal history is the only history that has ever been in existence. Modern civilization has “always been” and “always will be” in existence which is of course, absolutely ridiculous.

The days of famine, disease, suffering, hardship and death are foreign concepts that can’t fly, shouldn’t fly. Anyone who talks about these things or plans for them is heretical.

Their bible is the status-quo, the business as usual, book, chapter and verse. This is the only translation there is, and the best it has ever been. They cannot see civilization for what it really is. They have their priests on hand to interpret it for them every night at 6:00 pm, and that’s exactly how they like it.

But you — you have the gall to deny all this and to declare that this is not how man could live, should live or even God forbid, will live! You declare from your own throne that it is over for humankind, his edifices and institutions are going to crumble and fall into dust. How dare you!

I spent about twenty years in the ministry. I never talk about this anymore, but it’s true. It doesn’t matter though, I’d have dared without that experience. But I did learn early on that obeying was more important then thinking, and questioning was swiftly punished.

I discarded those garments in time, since like others, I just couldn’t stop myself from saying that the earth wasn’t flat. I knew it wasn’t flat, how could it be? I was able to experience the roundness of the earth, just as much as I am able to experience the collapse of our civilization. How can anyone deny this if they are already living the experience?

The only thing that makes this possible is to explain it all away as something else. Reality isn’t real, it’s really illusion. God didn’t ignore the suffering of all the people, he ordained it. Our civilization is not collapsing, it’s still advancing.

Of course, none of this is true, but denying reality (real events) is commonplace. Our lying President invaded Iraq because God told him to and millions believed it. The daily horrors of reality and pools of blood leaking from the bodies of children can all be explained away as something else. We’re not responsible for that!

This disconnect is everywhere. Cognitive dissonance, consensus trance, deep denial. And it makes these people delusionally dangerous. Even pools of blood are not real, if they’d only obeyed our demands, none of this would have happened!

Let me ask you something: Why do you think the collapse will be dangerous or difficult in the first place? Is it because of food shortages? Martial law? Fascism? Resource depletion?

The most dangerous part of the collapse is denial. Denial causes people to behave is strange and dangerous ways. It creates panic when they suddenly realize that the grocery stores are empty, or they can no longer drive due to the lack of gasoline.

Denial is people. Denial isn’t no more coal or oil or food or anything non-human. Denial is another way of saying, how people act. And how they act, both now and then is going to be a huge issue. It is the “what” that makes the collapse dangerous, not that we’ve run out of oil, or food or water or any other thing, but what these people are going to do.

Denial of reality, denial of facts, denial of events, denial of circumstances — these are all in widespread evidence today by the Flat Earthers. What do you think is going to happen as these real life events accelerate?

Rage. We’re busy trying to embrace the collapse. How DARE these heretics do that! If not rage, then anger. Or resentment. Or just all encompassing despair. But none of these are going to change their priestly garments which they wear as cloaks of protection from things they do not understand.

It is the robes themselves that are in the way, as they always have been throughout human history. These robes of denial, the robes of religious superstition, the robes of civilization are not protecting us — they are limiting us.

But they will hate you for this knowledge. Their Flat Earth is the only world they know. This is what makes collapse dangerous. People in denial wearing priestly robes of civilization and they will do anything to keep it alive, even kill you.

Some carry badges and guns. Others drive fancy cars and trucks. They’re all clinging to the view of the flat earth and how it’s going to last forever, and you come along with your gall and your logic and tell them that it’s all over and their robes of righteousness won’t help them at all. They will kill you for it, believing to be doing God himself a favor.

People are no different today then they were back then when the earth was flat. They are no more ‘civilized’ or decent or anything different. And they will have the same level of ‘mercy’ they showed heretics then too. Do NOT forget, morality and decency in real life can ONLY spring forth from abundance. Shortages mean a shortage of everything, including respect, decency, morality, justice, fairness, sharing, compassion and caring.

We are not going to be able to preserve these things without ongoing abundance. Humans will revert to the animals that they are. The Flat Earthers that don’t believe this (and I’ve heard from plenty of them) are in deep denial and need to go look at what is actually happening in the world today as villages, town, cites and nations fight over the remaining scraps.

Now extrapolate that on a world wide scale where there is no help coming from any quarter and you get the idea of what collapse means. How people act. Those that insist on clinging to their priestly garments will be the most dangerous ones of all, because they will act and believe as if they have “authority” and “moral rightness” (to act with extreme brutality and injustice). This is how it has ALWAYS been with humans and how it will ALWAYS BE.

It is just as ludicrous to try and ’save’ humanity from the collapse as it is to try and stop the collapse, neither battle can be ‘won’. The battle for hearts and minds has already been lost, and it is an impossible task anyway. This planet cannot support 7 billion people anymore, anyway.

Ok then. Just something I had to get off my chest.

Survival Acres Will Reduce Business

I am going to make some big changes beginning next month. This post is to serve notice to everyone.

There is one thing that everyone on this planet does not have anymore: Time. Time to do what is right, time to do what needs to be done, time to do what can be done. I have documented the coming collapse extensively, perhaps more so then anyone else, writing my thoughts and impressions about how this is going to totally destroy our civilization and why this is now happening.

In order for me to ‘gain’ time (which is really just a way of saying exchange time spent on one thing for another) I am going to stop accepting all food orders under $250.

There actually three reasons for this. I need to spend a huge amount of time on my own preparations this year. I will not have the time to keep running this business 7 days a week, or even the normal 14 hours a day I work now with my current order volume and workload. Raising the minimum order limit will cut my orders by 50% or more and will (hopefully) give me at least 50% or more personal time.

The second reason I will do this is because the coming famines are very real, anyone who is not seriously preparing for them in a big way will be too late anyway. I have always been about ‘real things’ and dealing with the real world — and putting my money where my mouth is. I am not profit motivated, the few who have ‘tried me’ have discovered that.

The third reason is order volume is too high. None of my suppliers can keep up and I deal with the largest canneries in the business. Volume needs to slow down or I’m going to work myself to death. I can’t imagine what it must be like for them.

All existing orders in place will be handled just like they always have. As they fill, my backlog will lighten and my work load will lesson and only be replaced by larger orders. I will still be reachable by phone and by email, nothing else will change. The website will carry notices that all new orders must be $500 or more.

I can already foresee where business like this will cease to exist in the near future. I have already had these discussions with the canneries (in general terms) who have wondered the same things. We are all dependent upon affordable food products and transportation. These are both in jeapordy due to world changes and I know it. I expect most dealers to be out of business within 1 or 2 years.

This decision is both economic and personal. My goal was to earn enough income to meet my own preparation needs. But what I was afraid of happening did — the majority of people thought that they could wait until the last minute to buy their food supplies as the world runs out. This will not work for them, for me, for anyone. The canneries will be so severely backlogged that this group of people will simply never get anything.

I did not meet my economic goals, but that can’t be helped. I think it would be sheer suicide for me to keep trying to do so right up to the last minute. This is a dangerous delusion when your personal survival is at stake.

The second big notice is about this blog. This is another huge time vacuum. This will also be reduced on updates to ‘whenever I feel like it’ which I’m sure will be often enough. I’ve long said there is no more point whatsoever to keep on documenting our collapse, nor do I intend to turn this into a survival blog, there are plenty of other places to go for that.

This blog will remain a collapse blog like no other and it will continue to air and discuss issues related to the collapse — as my time permits.

I will drop all of my existing advertisers too (except Google), either right away or within a month. There is little point in advertising when you’re trying to reduce business.

It isn’t money that the future requires (and never was). The future requires humans who have adapted themselves to living in a changed world. This adaption is going to take time and a lot of hard work. I am volunteering myself now for this task, which I do not believe is one bit early either. In fact, it’s overdue for all of us.

Collapse Is Not Crisis

“Collapse is NOT a Crisis” - by Lonwolf

Everywhere one looks these daze and crimes, one sees “crisis” this and “crisis” that proclaimed in virtually every headline. Dire (yet overtly hedged) proclamations are classically represented as some form of pending yet only momentary set-back or temporal inconvenience.

We are led to believe that “Sure, it will be a rough ride for awhile, but we’ll come through just fine in the end” {ha ha ha}. Still, sheeple, won’t blink an eyelash or bleat softly even as ewe graze upon trampled dust. “Impending crisis have always been foretold” - they assert - so “pay it no mind, no heed to the prognosticators or the men behind the curtain. We’ve all been though many “crisis” before and came out fine - really we did. See, we’re still here are we not? ”

But (instead), the impending, utter and absolute collapse (of humanity) is what is now ‘at stake’. Cumulative causation made manifest/revealed. Time is now to ‘get real’. Collapse is NOT crisis. Crisis are crisis. They develop and they dissolve (mainly supplanted until the ‘next crisis’).

Collapse is NOT crisis, Collapse is collapse - utter and final - the end of ‘our way of life’, of ‘civilized’ man, of me, you and the delusions we’ve harbored. Collapse is NOT “some crisis”. A collapse that is inevitable, unavoidable, and imminent (if not also overdue and necessary), the literal termination of the vast(-ly destructive) human experience (condition) throughout the past 10,000 years. No crisis nor any composite set thereof can remotely begin to match the consequences of terminal decline and mass culling if not literal extinction (for review, extinction - not diamonds - is forever).

“Crisis” implies a potential for eventual ‘recovery’, a (mythical) return to an alleged ‘normalcy’, the (magical) salvaging of ‘our non-negotiable way of life’, that a ’solution’ or techno-fix can and will be discovered in time to suspend gravity, levitate this sinking ship and deny all consequence(s), and circumvent physical reality. To ‘think’ such things is willful (overt) mass delusion albeit a milieu we are each highly skilled at/versed in, NTM conditioned for since birth.

Cognitive dissonance rages - virtually unanimously supreme - and thereby further assures the continued wanton destruction of the (not our) ‘world’ and everything we once ‘knew’ (believed, wanted, ‘hoped’) to be true. Yet our denial can and will in NO way change any outcome one iota.

Hope Kills (protracted diatribe omitted]. I’m told that Italians have a saying, “those who live in hope live in desperation”. I’d add, we exist (for awhile) in overtly delusional fantasy-land. Hope being neither a plan or action. Surreal isn’t reality and never will/can be.

Many (dubious) authors in the Doomer Press corps have recently thrown out phrases such as “things will be different this time around” yet they manage (mangle) to utterly fail to grasp that which they claim to be portending. Descriptors such as “the next great depression” and “the greatest depression” doesn’t BEGIN to present a cohesive picture of the immediate future to say nothing of the unfathomable future (if any).

Peak Oil (aka Peak Everything) is NOT temporary. NOT even close. Resource depletion (e.g. energy degradation) is just as permanent condition as is extinction - aka forever. Global, national, and individually diminished access to energy sources (whether cheap or otherwise) is permanent. Period. As too is everything derived from/by said energy - aka everything you’ve ever ‘known’ (experienced) - aka you. As access to energy (life as we know it) becomes increasing costly and/or difficult to secure, conflict at every conceivable level can only escalate - and will. ‘Think’ permanent global resource (CONsumption) wars - coming soon to a theater of operation near you.

Escalating climate change (accelerating environmental chaos) is likewise a permanent condition (on human time scales). Indeed, change itself is permanent. The Universe and every ‘thing’ (aspect) is dynamic, sinusoidal, frequency modulated - aka “No Static At All” (with apology to Steely Dan). All of the climatic thresholds to run-away environmental crisis were breached long ago (by human actions), yet we are only now just beginning to barely notice or to reap the resulting whirlwind.

The pace of degradation/destruction can and will only continue to escalate as 6.7 billion planet-consuming parasites strive daily to extract their survival from diminished resources and at ever increased personal/societal risk.

This is NOT a temporary circumstance - albeit one of our own making. Drought, famine, pestilence will inexorably accelerate across the globe producing ever more self-reinforcing fear, mass panic, universal pain, suffering, chaos, unrest, despair, ‘incivility’, ‘inhumanity’, aka widespread torturous death.

Once the human infestation is purged, only then may the planet attempt to heal - not that it can/will ever be ‘the same’ again. Paleolithic ‘oceans’ of alga and micro-flora did ‘bequeath’ unto us petroleum (with geologic assistance over eons). Humans shall bequeath thousands of distinct and persistent biotoxins (derived from oil) now permeating the entire biosphere.

All of evolution has been irrevocably altered (not ‘just’ human evolution)- and ‘we are far from being done with our wanton planeticidal impacts. A million years hence, the Earth and every living ‘thing’ remaining (if any) will (genetically, molecularly) still ‘know’ of us and our effect. (I now return the theoretical reader to the ‘irregularly unscheduled’ deprogramming).

Both energy death and climate chaos immediately and irrevocably impinge on food production - global and local. “Our daily bread”, “manna from heaven”, and related nonsense is a ‘prayer’ aka “hope”, desire, a infinitely sterile plea - not fact, nor a right (and never was, ask any African for example).

Soylent Green can likewise be ‘at best’ but a temporary respite albeit for an infinitesimal few. Together, unfolding energy and climate realities represent a double-whammy to human sustenance (existence) and presage an end to food ’security’ (survival of ‘civilized’ mankind) in every niche and corner of the globe.

As with pollution, there is NO “away” - no ‘out of sight out of mind’ - no way out of this ‘quandary’ (reality) we each must attempt to confront (and die anyway). Humans, our composite greed and ignorance, have willfully - even eagerly - destroyed the very planet which solely and wholly sustained us (note use of past tense).

The global ‘loss’ of functional ecosystems (life support) and of widespread accelerating species extinctions (literally by the minute) will never be restored, repaired, reinvigorated, replenished - never ‘return’, never ‘provide’ nor ever ‘permit’ the continuation of ‘modern life’ - perhaps ‘any’ human life - as we’ve ‘understood’ it since pre-HIStory. Extinction is forever.

Forever is NOT a crisis. Forever is forever and ever. And collapse is forever. Forever is Not crisis. Whom amongst us, tremulous readers, can NOT accurately recite the nursery rhyme “Humpty Dumpty”? Few to none, I’ll wager. Yet how many hear/see the ‘moral of the story’? - appreciate the message of finité ? Few to none.

“… And, all the King’s horses and all the King’s men, could not put Humpty Dumpty back together again.” Impossibility IS. Gravity sucks. Shit happens, flows downhill and can never be ‘put back together again’. So it often stinks - so ‘bushing’ what? Hey Eggheads, this is no mere nursery rhyme. It’s the quintessential message of inevitability - of reality. Material existence ‘meets’ entropy. Experiential intersection with space time. A ‘pure’ allegory of - metaphor for- life. And, indeed, (the) fact. Death is final, yours, mine, ours, theirs. The sole result of growth, development, creation, … of life. End of Story. What is, was. What was shall never be again. Thank you very much. Truly.
