Another Reality

Steve Lendman has a couple of articles worth reading (his last two entries, I don’t have a direct link). The real world where assassins and murderers operate, and the American human rights abuse.

There is no doubt that most of us live on entirely different realities. What we perceive, see, hear and even feel is very much different then what others see, hear and feel. There is a shadowy world inhabited by hordes of goons and their victims that lies beneath ‘our’ daily reality.

This layering of worlds, one laid on top of the other, is actually very deep, with multiple levels. What we “normal” people perceive and react to, is very much different to what other people at other levels are perceiving and reacting to.

I don’t suppose this is really news if you’ve read much. But we often don’t think about it, because we’re stuck in our own bubbles of reality. This isn’t really news either, but now that I’ve reminded you of these two points, here’s what I’m driving at: What do you suppose is going to happen as our collapse deepens with these other layers? Where do those people go? What do they do? Essentially, what becomes of them and how does it relate to the rest of us?

Does their reality go away? Does their very different worldview and lifestyle actually disappear? Or does it continue? Who are their next victims, their next targets?

If this doesn’t terrify you, it should, because these are the kinds of people (who don’t really qualify for that distinction) you are up against. And if you didn’t catch it, these are the kinds of people who are operating in government right now, including Obama himself.

A lot of us would really, really like to see an entirely different world come forth as a result of the collapse, but let’s be honest here, would it? How? They’re not concerned about resource shortages, or climate change, or environmental collapse. Their world view doesn’t even include these concepts.

What do you actually do with pathological killers who are promoted to high positions of office and power? What “makes them go away” like they should?

Another point I’m trying to make is there really are a lot of absolutely crazy people in the world. Pathological killers, sociopaths, homicidal maniacs. What do you suppose happens when they’re no longer restrained by a society that collapses?

It’s quite possible that, like now, these individuals and groups will actually be employed as much as they are destroyed, with the former being more true then the latter. I’m betting that more mercenaries and killers will exist in the future then less, and that this will be very widespread, even if disorganized.

We’re not looking ahead to a future that is going to be free of violence, where the Earth is respected and nourished as it nourishes us, but to a future that promises only more of the same as today, only far, far worse. We’re actually a long, long ways away from what many of us dream of, we’re actually generations away.

Now here is something not entirely unrelated, Herr Bush criticizes Obama policies and actions.  You’re supposed to absolutely forget that these policies and actions were initiated under Bush in the first place, but now that I’ve reminded you of this fact, remember what Lendman said regarding torture in his articles linked above.

What’s going on here is the same BAU model, smokescreens and bullshit and obfuscation of the facts and evidence, anything and everything to keep the people uninformed, or ill-informed, off-balance and divided.  I well realize nothing is going to change this for a very long time.  This is “their” reality too — very much different then mine.

By The Way ….

Does anybody besides me “notice” the trends that tend to be covered (established) and set in motion by the media? I certainly do and I do not think for a blind moment that this is any sort of accident or coincidence.

Today we find ABC in bed (literally) with the White House, and walled prototypes of America’s future (todays blog entries). We also have other issues of noteworthy interest, New York City drills for nuclear war.

The trends that the media (and government) set in the minds of the public are worth paying particular attention to. We’ve seen a whole lot of rhetoric on Ahmadinejad and North Korea in the last few days too. Why any of this should really concern America or Americans isn’t real, but that’s not what government and media have set out to do.  You MUST be convinced that you are imperiled (personally) by this.

What these lying scum are doing is creating a smoke screen for their agenda, which always entails the same response, same people, same death toll as before and (here’s the personal part you REALLY should pay attention to since it is personal), the same forced servitude and extraction of your wealth, labor and lives in supporting (building) their bombs, weapons and toys so they can go create even more news stories.
You can see these trends, or perhaps better described as themes everywhere in the media. What is noteworthy is how they are oft use to create a group awareness / group behavior within the public. While this should be obvious and even expected, what you don’t find in the media to this mass psychological programming is this: rejection and / or resistance.

Promotion of these stories, events, or activities is swiftly taken up by ALL of the major media outlets. But the counter-resistance to this influence (which is very very strong) is rarely if ever given a proper balance to the mass assault of this type of propaganda. Resistance is there, but it’s never given an equal share of air time. Our “fair and balanced” media is anything but. It’s biased, vindictive and highly controlled. But that isn’t really news either.

The trends that the lapdog media of government establishes are (often, but not always), a roadmap to the future. They tried to scare the hell out of all of us with swine flu for example (with reason). It’s not just to get readership, I think we’ve gone way beyond that. It’s all about control. They’ve become very adept at stampeding the herd any any direction in which they choose, and it has a great effect upon the following: consumption, purchasing and debt.

But there is also the psychological conditioning effect at work here, which is really what interests me the most. I’ve often struggled against the lack of support and response to what I consider “in-your-face reality, this-is your !@%!&! future people” rejection I’m a witness to. What is literally dead-obvious apparently isn’t to tens of millions of “stuck in stupid” people. But there must be a reason for this first-gear mentality. And it’s not just the poor quality food, or the crap they stick in our water or the poisoned air we breath. I mean I eat and breath the same stuff you do, so what’s the bloody difference here?

It’s the media folks, of course. The media is making people brain-dead stupid by keeping them in herded groups of fatted sheep, buy this, buy that, think this, think that and never, never question the status quo “reality” that they are manufacturing for you. Of course, the media is not alone in this, most of our society is engaged in this caricature of reality. One reason why I beg people to destroy the televisions is for this reason, you will struggle with the reality of the world if you don’t (or stay mostly asleep).

The media is indeed creating a roadmap, a psychological conditioning of millions of minds for a future that they are making. The great tragedy here is we are letting them do it.

I’ll be honest with you. Americans are unbelievable sloths with it comes to issues such as freedom. If we can’t bomb it from 30,000 feet (which we stupidly call “the fight for freedom” as we kill people who have never done us any harm or ever hurt our “freedom”), we’re not that interested. Freedom at home?  Forgetaboutit.  You’ve got McDonalds and an endless supply of frankenfoods don’t you?  So shut the fuck up and eat your shit.

Those (few) that have resisted have faced a titanic tide of resistance against them. And they’re still losing ground (for you), even if you don’t know it.

I do not expect this to change. The psychological control and conditioning, the constant loss of our very own thoughts and assault upon our behavior, lives, beliefs, attitudes, opinions and very very important, real knowledge, will continue, no matter what. But I just want you, each of you, to know that it’s not any sort of accident at all. The themes being established and presented to us are to condition every mind in America to remain brain-dead stupid and to accept their conditioning without question.

And that alone, should make you mad as hell.  Why?

Because that’s where you’re being led.

Turning Towns Into Prisons

This too is interesting, when you consider the psychological programming factor to millions of Americans:

CBS is about to shoot a reality show tentatively called “Block Party” in Kennesaw that literally turns suburbia… into a prison.

Earlier this month, the network built 2,000 feet of stark 20-foot tall walls around eight homes in a Kennesaw subdivision, walls that resemble the outside of a maximum-security penitentiary — minus the barbed wire. There are even off-duty Kennesaw police stationed on the road to keep traffic moving.

“It could be Anywhere, USA,” Bienstock said. Prison Walls Go Up in Kennesaw

One day, it probably will be. I’m sure the network is all gaga over making oodles of money from their advertisers, but the deep psychological impacts that this kind of thing can have is worth thinking about. Turn America into enclaves of have’s-and-have-not’s for starters. And forced behavior and associations.

And notice how the media calls this a “maximum security penitentiary”, despite the cellophane type construction of the walls. What other country does this look like?

Israel.

Now there’s a country that has put the dot in the word “prison”. So welcome to the American Gulag, where the media is in bed with government and where we are being calmly “introduced” to a Orwellian future.

Or you can go back to sleep and pretend it’s just a ‘reality show’.

ABC Turns Programming Over To Government

This is interesting:

ABC TURNS PROGRAMMING OVER TO OBAMA; NEWS TO BE ANCHORED FROM INSIDE WHITE HOUSE
Tue Jun 16 2009 08:45:10 ET

On the night of June 24, the media and government become one, when ABC turns its programming over to President Obama and White House officials to push government run health care — a move that has ignited an ethical firestorm!

Highlights on the agenda:

ABCNEWS anchor Charlie Gibson will deliver WORLD NEWS from the Blue Room of the White House.

The network plans a primetime special — ‘Prescription for America’ — originating from the East Room, exclude opposing voices on the debate.

I’ll bet you dollars to donuts that this isn’t just about health care either (as claimed). This is fascism, pure and simple. Control the media and you can control almost everything.

Massacre In Peru

Filed under: General, Environment, Terrorism, Tyranny — admin @ 9:31 pm

A Peruvian massacre is being reported of at least 38 civilians.

From Puruanista:

Beware, these videos are extremely graphic.

Just in case you thought that we were exaggerating. This is racist genocide. Was this necessary? Were these the barbaric savages that Alan Garcia was referring to? Was this part of the U.S. military presence in Ayacucho, bringing “humanitarian” help? Most importantly, Why is president Obama still silent? Why is the U.S. government allowing this? After all these people are dying because of the damned U.S.- Peru Free Trade Agreement. Talk about change and hope, Mr. President!

Because the United States never has respected indigenous peoples. Anywhere. Our own sordid history continues its genocide against Native Americans to this day. Peruvian Indians won’t be helped by the U.S., period.

More here:

Victims of the genocidal Alan Garcia

We can expect more days and nights of violence and killing of the poorest of Peru, if we allow the murderer Alan Garcia to continue ruling the country. Tonight the infamous TV stations Panamericana, Frecuencia Latina, America TV, ATV and others have shown a manipulated video with graphic images of chopped bodies of police officers who alleged they were tortured by Amazonian Indigenous, according to their sources.

All of this has been ordered by the terrorist Alan Garcia, who has started a real civil war among the poor of Peru. From his rotten palace in Lima the despicable man welcomes the opportunity to show nasty and terrifying images of dead policemen on national TV and during family prime time. The APRA and Fujimori fascist mafias are trying to portrait the Indigenous Amazonian people as terrorists; they want to criminalize them with one intention: they are preparing more military attacks and more deaths might occur in increasingly remote areas where even independent media can’t access.

The unstable government in Lima –knowing that hell will break loose- is trying to criminalize and incarcerate Amazonian leaders, who after seeking justice for years, decided to stand up in civil disobedience without violence, against a country that no longer wants them alive.

During the tragedy of Bagua, I have seen horrifying photos and videos sent from witnesses and showing the abusive assault of brutalizes members of the National Police against unarmed civilians. Witnesses say some bodies were burned down and thrown into rivers. Some other bodies were taken away in plastic bags -perhaps the same bodies presented this evening, life forgive me.

Lima media has not reported the true tragedy yet: they only speak of policemen killed -we Indians don’t count right- and they don’t mention that there are between 35 and 85 dead people so far. In Lima, they complain about Cuba and Venezuela, but the press has become a whore who sells itself to the highest bidder, no matter if it means mocking tragedies.

Peruvian people, democracy in Peru has failed and there is no freedom of press, multinational corporations are taking over the total control of an increasingly weak Peruvian state. They are about to buy the historic monuments of Cusco, and they have already bought almost all the productive valleys of the south and northern coast of Peru, and the most productive valleys of the Andes. Now they want to steal the territories from Indigenous Peruvians. It is not surprising that this government prefers to give bailout money for U.S. owned Doe Run mining company, and to exempt taxes to an Israeli man who gives Peruvian people a poisoning trashy television, or to increase royalties for Canadian, U.S., European and Chinese polluting mining companies.

We are being robbed in our noses, Peruvians are now second class citizens – the insane murderer who governs us Garcia even said it blatantly the night of the attacks. The racism of this fatty criminal is shocking, and he wants to see more blood shed in the name of ‘security and progress’ says the filthy fascist. This is the same Alan Garcia that asked in Spain for “more caravels to come to Peru”, he gave away the main square of Lima to an opera singer for a night; he gives medals to fascist King of Spain and the extremist right-wing guru Jose Maria Aznar. He is the one that came to the U.S. to kiss Bush’s butt.

The Garcia administration grants foreign companies with enormous privileges while it kills Peruvian citizens as we were dogs, thus they are creating a bestial battle between indigenous brothers. Alan Garcia must resign and Congress should call for a general elections. Otherwise there will be more deaths due to police and military repression, if we stay silent in the name of the progress for the few. Where is Mario Vargas Llosa to protest for freedom and democracy in Peru?

Shit, if nothing is done to defend the lives of Peruvians and the integrity of the nation, not only we will continue having a criminal as a president - but we will be witnessing the takeover of Peru by Chile or the birth of a new U.S. colony where inequality will worsen but fancy Wal-Mart monsters and luxurious hotels will pop up next to Machu Picchu.

Meanwhile our children are dying of cold in the highlands, our Amazon brothers are preparing for war, and the children of the victims both police officers and natives are dreaming of a day when they can revenge the deaths of their loved ones. Today is the people of Bagua, tomorrow it can be you. Free Trade policies with the U.S. have already destroyed the lives of millions of Mexicans and Central Americans, and are projected to benefit only 3% of Peruvians -those who already have everything but are so unhappy they are begging for more blood shed.

Lets defend life, human rights, justice, progress with equality, respect for our planet. Lets defend what every courageous, dignified and decent people would fight for in those times in history that require all the greatness and the courage of a nation.

Peru wake up.

This is another sign of the end.  American corporations in league with corrupt foreign governments are competing for scarcer and scarcer resources as any and all costs.  This is a scene that will be repeated around the world, over and over and over, as it already has for a hundred years.

The same injustice, indifference and callous disregard we’ve witnessed, documented and disagreed with by government is everywhere today, certainly not unique to Empire.

And the same plea is being made by those on the forefront:  WAKE UP!

I’m Rooting For the Protestors

Nine more police killed in Amazon protests is an article on the long-standing dispute between ancient land dwellers and corporate interests. Clashes have resulted in 30 dead Indians and 155 injured (and counting).

I’m rooting for the protesters on this one. Oil and gas exploration in the rain forest is a no-brainer. So is oil drilling, logging, mining and large-scale farming.

The government declared Sunday a national day of mourning. In Lima, anguished relatives holding candles held a wake for nine of the slain police officers.

Who’s mourning the Indians killed? The lands destroyed? The habitat ruined? Anybody? Nobody?

Prime Time Coverage On 9/11 Lies

Submitted by Torjus — a new YouTube video of the evidence against the official “story” (lies) of the U.S. Government and the collapse / attack of the World Trade Center.

If you’re not familiar with the evidence against the official story, you should take a few moments and watch this.

The video is informative, but well known data. This country will never allow a proper investigation into the homegrown attacks on the WTC.

I’d bet 50% or so of Americans already know that our own government blew up the WTC. And it has not made a lick of difference, and in my opinion, it never will. This was the crime of century and these bastards got away with it.

By the way — there WAS reports of unusual activity on entire floors of the WTC, with many people coming and going (workers) and entire floors blocked off from regular access. This happened only a couple of weeks before the attack.

There is absolutely no doubt at all that the Bush / Cheney cabal did this. But look what’s happened to them. Exactly nothing, while they went forth and blew up the rest of the world with their lying bloodlust and turned this country into a police state.

Makes me sick. I am so ashamed of this country that I could puke.

U.S. Army Now At DEFCON 2

Sent in by Lonewolf - for some reason, the U.S. Army has moved to DEFCON 2. This is only 1 step below maximum readiness for imminent attack / war.

I will withhold any speculation as to why (and it doesn’t matter what I think anyway).  But if these idiots go to war with North Korea, then it’s just another peg in the cribbage board.
