An Open Letter To American Mass Media

Dear Editor,

Imagine if more than 63 thousand Americans were massacred in a couple of hours’ campaign of F-16 bombing. This number represents (by way of percentage) the number of Palestinians killed by Israel when it launched its massive air strikes in Gaza on Saturday. A friend of mine in Gaza tells me that hundreds are still buried under the rubble and the toll of deaths could easily reach thousands. Already there are more than 1,700 injured with many in serious conditions. (more…)

Identifying The Real Terrorists In The World Today

Nations that are engaged in the oppression of peoples (including their own) are being enabled by many others. The early settlers to America discovered a people of willing assistance and peaceful existence, but this did not last very long as the immigration into this continent soon became a flood. In typical fashion, conflicts soon arose.

The early settlers to America engaged in an ‘on again, off again’ warfare against the indigenous population, until a sufficiently sized region was carved out with the blood of the conquered to accomodate the incoming agriculturists. This process repeated itself almost indefinitely, as more immigrants demanding more land invaded the country.

Eventually, after the formation of the colonial government, the concept (in this country at least, it had been widely practiced before) of State sponsored warfare was ruthlessly embarked upon, killing million of Native Americans and ultimately driving the remaining impoverished survivors into desolate regions deemed unsuitable for the conquering white man.

The New American people for the most part, were in full support of these actions, having desired the land with its abundant resources that was once occupied by the Natives. Their complicity to this genocide and direct participation in these actions is well documented in the annals of history and has been repeated many, many times before and since.

The few voices in resistance never gained much ground and ultimately, failed to stop the genocide.

It should be recognized that this has been an oft-repeated process of conquest and domination, practiced throughout all of history by every nation of the world and continues herewith to this day.

Enabling this has been governments and civilians and military force, all actively engaged, directly and indirectly in these actions. The rivers of blood that have resulted have not quenched the thirst for conquest, land and resources in the least. The modern world has perfected the ‘art of killing’ to a very highly advanced degree, even engaging the majority of the global population (with great success) to go along with it.

Yet the question of who are the real terrorist in the world today still remains. War is not at all exempt from the charge of terrorism. State-sponsored acts of war are often very guilty of terrorist acts. (more…)

Israel’s Wanton Aggression On Gaza

Steve Lendmen has a highly informative article on the Gaza slaughter. I’m posting it here because his articles disappear on his site and I want “the record to show” the very important, other side of the story.

Gazan Voices, American Silence

I’m still sick, trying to get some rest, but what is really making me ill is the stories I have been reading on the Gaza siege.

This is a article I recommend everyone read, the truly terrifying conditions that have been going on in Gaza for years now.

Gazan Voices, American Silence

The point is that more than a million people are experiencing a calamitous humanitarian crisis, which has been made even worse by so many American voices remaining silent in the face of this ongoing and, in the view of many, obscene strangulation of Gaza. Of course, you could say, “well, there are many people who are suffering throughout the world – look at Darfur, the Congo, Kenya, India, etc., etc.” True enough, but Americans must remember this: It is our unremitting financial support of Israel, amounting to about 3 billion dollars every year,* making it the recipient of more of our foreign aid that any other country, that makes this siege possible. We are paying for all those planes and missiles, for all those bulldozers that demolish the houses of Gazans (and other Palestinians), and for the salaries for all those guards who are keeping the Gazan people locked up in their fetid open-air prison. Yes, these are your tax dollars at work. Do you really want to continue to see them spent in this way?

It’s very doubtful that any of us can truly envision what conditions must be like there. We just ‘celebrated’ our high Consumer Day, and New Year’s is just around the bend (a place where many Americants will soon be).

On the other side of the world, our dollars and our bombs are amounting to genocidal death by starvation, explosion and terror to an entire nation. Err, nations, Iraq is not to be forgotten.

I’ve brought up the point before that we are complicit to murder. There are millions of other people in the world that know this fact through and through. How is it that we can be so utterly blind and callous to not understand what it is we do?

If the United States stopped supporting Israel and withdrew its funding, military support and equipment ‘donations’ and refused to endorse such actions as the Gaza occupation (and stopped blocking the UN), Israel would be forced to withdraw (sooner or later). The point is, it is the United States of Amerika that is making this all possible. This is but one reason we are complicit to murder on an unbelievable scale.

Few want to admit to the Zionist control of the U.S. government or the media, but there are plenty of facts to back this up, they’re plastered all over the Web. Since posting these Gaza articles, this site has been experiencing reported access problems. I do not know if they are connected and I simply do not care. The truth needs to be told.

If we don’t speak up, who is going to speak up for you when it is your time?

The deafening silence is also being found within the Arab community (and Arab delegates to the United States).

Children do not care where their ’salvation’ comes from, but they care very much while the world stands by while they are ruthlessly slaughtered.

I never knew death until I saw the bombing of a refugee camp
Craters filled with disfigured ankles and splattered torsos
But no sign of a face, the only impression a fading scream
I never understood pain
Until a seven-year-old girl clutched my hand
Stared up at me with soft brown eyes, waiting for answers
But I didn’t have any
I had muted breath and dry pens in my back pocket
That couldn’t fill pages of understanding or resolution

In her other hand she held the key to her grandmother’s house
But I couldn’t unlock the cell that caged her older brothers
They said, we slingshot dreams so the other side will feel our father’s presence
A craftsman
Built homes in areas where no one was building
And when he fell, he was silent
A .50 caliber bullet tore through his neck shredding his vocal cords
Too close to the wall
His hammer must have been a weapon
He must have been a weapon
Encroaching on settlement hills and demographics

So his daughter studies mathematics
Seven explosions times eight bodies
Equals four Congressional resolutions
Seven Apache helicopters times eight Palestinian villages
Equals silence and a second Nakba
Our birthrate minus their birthrate
Equals one sea and 400 villages re-erected
One state plus two peoples…and she can’t stop crying
Never knew revolution or the proper equation
Tears at the paper with her fingertips
Searching for answers
But only has teachers
Looks up to the sky and see stars of David demolishing squalor with hellfire missiles

She thinks back words and memories of his last hug before he turned and fell
Now she pumps dirty water from wells, while settlements divide and conquer
And her father’s killer sits beachfront with European vernacular
She thinks back words, while they think backwards
Of obscene notions and indigenous confusion

This our land!, she said
She’s seven years old
This our land!, she said
And she doesn’t need a history book or a schoolroom teacher
She has these walls, this sky, her refugee camp
She doesn’t know the proper equation
But she sees my dry pens
No longer waiting for my answers
Just holding her grandmother’s key…searching for ink

Russian Prediction The U.S. Will Break Up

Filed under: General — admin @ 1:20 pm

Found this over on the fall of civilization, a former KGB Russian analyst is predicting the fall of the United States and the break up of the country into six regions. We’ll lose Alaska according to Panarin.

Russian Professor Predicts End of U.S.

Mr. Panarin posits, in brief, that mass immigration, economic decline, and moral degradation will trigger a civil war next fall and the collapse of the dollar. Around the end of June 2010, or early July, he says, the U.S. will break into six pieces — with Alaska reverting to Russian control.

This fits pretty close to my own forecast. I don’t see Americans revolting until they’ve suffered quite a bit more, we’re much too fat and comfortable still to rebel.

Americans hope President-elect Barack Obama “can work miracles,” he wrote. “But when spring comes, it will be clear that there are no miracles.

I don’t expect any miracles at all. From anybody.

The prediction looks like this:

Now let me tell you why I don’t buy this.

a) The economic crisis is world-wide. China will have too many internal problems to deal with an attempted takeover of the West Coast.

b) Canada and the United States and Mexico will undoubtedly form the North American Union, but there is zero possibility of the central States being “under Canadian influence”.

c) The Southern States will not fall to Japan (or China) either (or Mexico). Panarin’s Prediction (has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?) is basically ridiculous. Economic collapse happens to us ALL and will create huge problems worldwide.

d) Atlantic America will not fall to the European Union either for the same reasons.

However, the breakup of the U.S. remains possible sometime into the future, but it definitely won’t be divided up among the so-called “victors” like a pig at a luau. If and when it breaks up, it will be isolated from the world community and almost entirely from it’s immediate neighbors (Canada and Mexico).

Panarins Prediction regarding a civil uprising is possible (and overdue). My best guess is it WILL happen, the military movements and preparations for martial law are very real and happening now. The end result will be the same, we’re going to fight back. This will precipitate any breakup of the United States.

In other forecasts of mine (and others), bioregional zones will also be in our future, which could easily lead to a breakup of the United States. In other words, Panarins Prediction is like many other so-called ‘assessments’ by experts out there, a bit of truth stretched around some unbelievable lies.

The issues of climate change, resource depletion, energy shortages, food shortages and martial law / civil uprising do not “permit” alien states seizing the dissolution of the United States.  It is possible that some sort of governance / political control or influence could be exerted, but that’s all.  And maybe that is all Panarin is predicting, I don’t really know.

But failing to account for the rather significant issues of a changing planet and ever-dwindling resources is often why I don’t buy into so many ’scenarios’ because they are simply missing some really big parts of the puzzle.

Anything remains possible, including an alien invasion from Alpha Centauri.  But I’m sure not banking on it.  Much more worrisome to me is global population reduction by humans (biochemical and biological attacks), internal strife and implosion (of which preparations for martial law are a part of), global food shortages (it’s getting very bad in Zimbabwe now), the ever growing energy crisis (with no solution in sight), and the never ending campaigns (in all their forms) to makes slaves out of humankind.

Worth pondering is why the Panarin Prediction is even being given “air time”.  I don’t know the answer to that yet.

Israel Attacks Humanitarian Ship

Israeli gunboats attacked the humanitarian ship Dignity today, carrying former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney from the United States.

(Larnaca, Cyprus, 10:00 am) On Tuesday, December 30, at 5 a.m., several Israeli gunboats intercepted the Dignity as she was heading on a mission of mercy to Gaza. One gunboat rammed into the boat on the port bow side, heavily damaging her. The reports from the passengers and journalists on board is that she is taking on water and appears to have engine problems. When attacked, the Dignity was clearly in international waters, 90 miles off the coast of Gaza. Israeli Navy attacks and wounds Dignity in International Waters

I’ll be interested in seeing the footage. CNN has a pic here:

Medical boat attacked

The CNN story is already spinning what will probably be later learned as the real facts (too early to tell, but it’s pretty damned hard to ram a boat in open international waters unless it was fully intentional). Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor is not known for telling the truth.

Here are pics of massacred children in Gaza. Don’t look if you don’t want to know.

Whoops, Youtube already has a video.

There is also a new update already from Free Gaza on the attack.

Unfortunately, I have a really lousy internet connection today (more heavy snowfall, many buildings are now collapsing in the region) and can’t update like I would prefer.

Forecast 2009

Kunstler has a new post out today, Forecast 2009.

I agree with most of it, but not all of it. Kunstler missed the heartache, sorrow and suffering that will earmark 2009. And the fascist police state as it cracks down ever harder on Americants will be pretty harsh in places and shock some of the even the most dense among us.

I also predict Americants will line up like Holocaust Survivors, hollowed eyed and gaunt, overwhelming ‘basic services’. Most will stupidly ignore the empty lots and dried-out lawns that could have made a difference in their lives.

The Warsaw Uprising that we desperately need won’t happen. Contrast this to the rebellion and riots we will see in Europe and South America in particular. Much of this will arise because economic starvation but not all of it. Perceived religious oppression will also spark riots and come close to toppling governments.

I expect Obama will choose a lot of the wrong things, there is already strong evidence of this. The anti-Obama supporters will gleefully point this out to anyone who will listen as they drink they’re watered down coffee or MadDog wine. And they’ll be right of course, but it won’t matter. Americants will still stupidly believe that salvation (for some) lies in the hands of politicians, while the rest will become increasingly frantic that they’re still here.

This latter group will become increasingly aberrant and bizarre, exhibiting very strange and dangerous behavior as more and more outrageous views are embraced. Stay away from them, their implosion and self-cannibalization is not far off.

Deep signs of Americant polarization will continue to worsen, with the rabid Right hurling more then vindictive’s to the Left, who will respond in kind. Confrontations involving several deaths will occur as wasted blame and energy is focused on all the wrong places.

Ignorance will remain as rampant as ever, as media brainwashing by government edict continues. A new “Green” awareness will be heightened and will remain as stupid and misguided and unsustainable as ever, but will be embraced by both the fawning public and government.

Hundreds of billions of ever-worthless dollars for ‘new programs’ and initiatives will be committed to propping up our failing system. None of it will work.

2009 will be business as usual for Americants still plugged into the System, with new faces, new slogans and new names plastered over everything. But it will be significantly worse then 2008, as more empty bubbles pop, sending their soap scum back into the dirty dishwater of American greed.

Millions more will be unemployed with no work to be found. By this time next year, we will be talking hard-core survival for an entire segment of our population, both the lower and middle class ’survivors’.

China will very likely pull the plug on financing our further indebtedness. The North American Union will be rammed through (made public) as Canada and Mexico realize they have no choice either. This way, we’ll all go down together.

I expect zero prosecutions for the high crimes and misdemeanors exhibited by past and present political figures, including Paulson and Bernake. Protection of the privileged elite will remain despite their malfeasance, and only a pretense of ‘investigation’ into their frauds will exist, but nobody will be rightly punished. The only justice there will ever be will be at the hands of bumbling vigilantes who will be the homegrown disenfranchised ‘terrorists’ in our midst. I expect a few of these will pop up in 2009.

By 2010, I propose that things will be significantly different here, for all of us. In part, battle lines will have finally been drawn and the mindless polarization will be somewhat set aside as the issue of personal survival takes the forefront over politics or belief systems.

The police state will have driven a gigantic deep wedge permanently into the minds of hundreds of thousands, and many of us will have finally hit rock bottom and have nothing left to lose.

Nice post / rant by Angie, well worthy of a repost here.

I ask you to ponder this true story and wonder and then finally take some action about the country that your living in.

There Is No Oz

Ripples of outrage layered with disgust are passing through my body right now. Ripples that look just like a whole lot of other ugly ripples I’ve witnessed vibrating across the whole country in recent years. All in full view of anyone who bothered to be looking. The hologram theory begins to make sense to me now. Every tiny piece of the picture is exactly the same as every other piece. That’s the game. That’s the game that we’re not supposed to be able to see. But just like Dorothy ripping aside the curtain and seeing some little schmuck standing there instead of some great and mighty godlike being, I see the game, just like she did. (more…)
