4/30/08 - Rainy Day has sent us an emergency price increase, cannery volume is extreme and worldwide shortages of some products are now here.
3/20/08 - New prices, effective immediately. Product price list on site should be considered current until further notice.
3/18/08 - New wheat prices, effective immediately. This is for wheat and all food plans containing any wheat products. We are now completely sold out of hard white wheat. All units / plans that contain hard white wheat (Golden 86) will receive substitutions with hard red wheat. All current and existing orders should be able to fill with hard white wheat, only new orders are affected.
2/13/08 - New prices, effective immediately.
1/28/08 - $100 minimums for all product lines now required.

12/7/07 - Updated several of our food plans, increasing their size and selection. We also have new calorie information now available for cans, buckets and bags, and will be updating our site to reflect this.

7/23/07 - Updated Year Food Plans with new price increases for milk. Many plans allow substitutions, so if you don't want the milk, this can be dropped to lower the price.
7/20/07 - Mountain House pouches now in stock! You can now buy individual Mountain House pouches "ala carte", no need to buy the entire case.
7/20/07 - HUGE price increase in milk just received. We just published our new prices, the suppliers and manufactures have been slammed with gigantic price increases. We've also been warned that by the end of August, all products are going to jump up again. Please order now!
6/8/07 - Summer sale begins, price changes on Rainy Day Foods, Mountain House and Richmoor product lines. Please don't ask how long the sale will last - we don't know. We are expecting massive price increases this fall due to reduced harvests, bee colony collapse disorder and climate change / drought effects. There are also problems developing with the biofuel program converting food into fuels. These are all causing huge price changes.
5/1/07 - Water barrels have been dropped. We still carry these, but they're getting very expensive to ship. If you want them, you could order these over the phone. The cheapest way to ship the 55 gallon barrels is to include them as part of a freight order.

1/13/07 - Super Spectrum 90 Vitamins. We've dramatically lowered our price on these vitamins!
1/12/07 - Instant Milk is no longer offered. Our supplier notified us of huge price increases and availability problems, this has been dropped from our selections. We have regular milk, which is the same as the Instant Milk, but you should chill this before serving.
1/12/07 - Hundred Weight Rate Increase (updated). We just received the new UPS hundredweight rates, which increased. They are now programmed into our shopping cart. I do not know why rates increased while oil costs are still falling, but we've been warning about this before. UPS made dozens of rate changes last year, I suspect they are planning on doing the same this year. Order earlier then later and beat the increasing prices! With a 30 year shelf life on food, this makes very good since. Imagine what any food is going to cost in ten years from now... while your storable food will still be an incredible deal!
12/25/06 - Rainy Day Foods has increased most of their prices, with some decreases. Our website reflects these changes, with our costs going down on many items. A few items increased, but we still have the best prices in the industry.
