Cancellations - Order cancellations for any reason are subject to a $20 cancellation fee and order processing fees (3%) and any shipping charges we may have incurred on any products we may have already shipped.
Damaged Items - Items damaged in shipment are usually replaced at no charge to you. All damaged products must be returned. The shipper (usually UPS or FedEx) must be notified at the time of receipt of any damage. You must notify us within ten days of receiving your order for any damaged items. Do not contact the cannery directly, or file a claim yourself, please contact us first, we must handle any damage claims from here.
Order Corrections - Order corrections can be made before your order ships (no charge). If you need to change the delivery address or date, you must call us or email us first (several days) before we ship so we can get this done in a timely fashion. UPS charges you $12 per package for address / intercept corrections if your order is already enroute. Freight shipments are charged $36 for a corrected Bill of Lading. Make sure you have provided us with the correct name and address for your shipment. You are responsible for making sure your address, your order, the items and the quantity are 100% correct at the time you place your order. Be SURE you examine your order receipt which is emailed to you at the time of your order!
Payment - All orders must be prepaid in advance. We accept Visa, Mastercard, personal checks, money orders or cashier checks. Cancelled credit card charges are charged according to our cancellation policy. Bounced checks are charged $30. Payments by check must be endorsed to our merchant account, Jade Enterprises.
Returns - No product returns. All sales final. This is also the policy of the canneries we deal with. Any products returned (refusal or failure to pick up) are considered "cancelled" and the above cancellation policy will apply. Any shipping charges (included returned shipping charges) we have incurred will also be deducted from any refund.
Missing Item Refunds - Missing items are refunded after we receive the shipping invoice data for your order. We can expedite this by asking for the information directly from the cannery.
Missing Items - Missing items must be reported to us in writing (email) within 10 days of receiving your shipment (no exceptions). We may require a complete inventory from you of all items received so we can accurately cross check the shipping records, including shipping weight.
Overshipments - Any products received that are not part of your order must be returned or paid for. Return shipping costs for overshipments returned to us are reimbursed to you (credited to your credit card in most cases), or we can issue a call tag and have the products picked up. Failure to return or cooperate in the return of any overshipped products (you decide to keep them) will result in you being charged for their cost and any shipping fees we have paid.
Backorders - No back orders on freight shipments (semi-truck), you are simply refunded for any missing items. Rainy Day UPS shipments will ship backorders when products become available. There are no backorders for Alpine Aire or Natural High. Survival Cave, Country Living, Super Spectrim, Survivor Industries, and Quick Stove will ship backorders when products become available.
Pricing - Website pricing are current prices. We receive emergency price increases from all canneries at any given time. Existing orders already received are honored for pricing at the time the order was placed, we do NOT go back and ask you to pay a higher price on products. Prices on our website are subject to change without notice.
Products - All customers accept complete responsibility for product selection, storage, inspection, ingredients, dietary needs or special dietary restrictions.
Shelf Life - Shelf life estimates are based on industry sources deemed reputable. We have no control over individual storage practices or locations, and disclaim any liability or warranty for particular results.
Website - Product description, pricing and availability as shown on the website are subject to change without notice. We do not accept any responsibility for manufacture changes to product descriptions, weights, availability or ingredients.
