CHOPPED CABBAGE

Ingredients: Cabbage flakes with sodium sulfite added as a preservative.
Net. wt. 20 oz. Case weight (6 #10 cans) 7 lb. 8 oz.

Directions: For cooked side dish: Combine 1 cup water with 1/4 cup cabbage in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Simmer until tender, about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Drain and season to taste. For salad: Combine cabbage with cold water. Soak for at least one hour. Add ice cubes or refrigerate for additional crispness. Drain excess water. Serve with your favorite salad or cole slaw dressing.
