Our One Year Complete Food Supply, with 4 gallons of cooking oil you add yourself, supplies all the nutrients you need to stay healthy for a year. The foods are all dehydrated or dry and in this compact form will store well and take up a minimum amount of storage space. This 798 lb unit comes in 11 1/2 cases and 9 six gallon buckets. Storage area required: 33 cubic feet (13" by 74" by 59"). Note: This package doesn't contain any sugar. You may wish to add some, even though this unit doesn't nutritionally need it.

Notes:

1: The calories are only just a bit short. Adding the recommended 4 gallons of cooking oil increases the calories to 3,000 per day. Why oil? See note 2.
2: The DRV says that at least 30% of your calories should come from fat. Dietitians suggest that for even a low fat diet, at least 20% of your calories should come from fat. Adding 4 gallons of cooking oil to this package, which is not included, will increase your daily calorie intake of fat from 168 to 526 calories per day. With the oils naturally occurring in the foods, this represents 18% of the calories in a 2,900 calorie diet. As cooking oil should be replaced every year, we suggest you rotate this in and out of your year supply on an annual basis.
3: This is not a problem because your body can make cholesterol.
4: Sprouting the 125 lbs of beans before cooking them provides an RDA of 217%.
5: Sprouting the 125 lbs of beans before cooking them provides 125% RDA.
6: For that 4 gallons of cooking oil you need, if you use sunflower or Canola cooking oil, it will provide 217% of the estimated daily requirement.
