I’ve finally come to realize that the many decades that I have now spent publishing words, stories, research and articles online has been an enormous waste of my time and my life. That is not to say that it hasn’t been informative, entertaining, educational or even appreciated – by me and by readers, which it has been. But it has come at an enormous cost of “life spent” that will never be gotten back.
Desdemona has shared an article that is of extreme importance to the entire world: Super-heatwaves of 55°C to emerge if global warming continues – “Humid-heat waves with these conditions were never exceeded in the present climate, but are expected to occur EVERY OTHER YEAR at 4°C global warming”
Heatwaves amplified by high humidity can reach above 40°C and may occur as often as every two years, leading to serious risks for human health. If global temperatures rise with 4°C, a new super heatwave of 55°C can hit regularly many parts of the world, including Europe.
Since President Dumpf declared climate change a hoax, he’s been busy making sure that this critical topic to human survival is ignored as much as possible.
Predictably, many Americans are in lock-step with this clown. Parroting the same useless and irrelevant arguments as their distinguished leader, the topic of climate change remains hated.
In some circles, it was hard to predict that this would be the direction the nation would take. The American media has been quite complicit with climate change denialism. But it’s not like that elsewhere, just here.
If Donald Trump has a dangerous mental illness, according to a group a psychiatrists, what does this say about his supporters?
Mental health experts claimed the President was “paranoid and delusional”, and said it was their “ethical responsibility” to warn the American public about the “dangers” Mr Trump’s psychological state poses to the country.
Most of the stupidstitious will refuse intelligence and knowledge, having embraced superstition and fear.
They can’t accept the fact that their world view is utterly false. It is not based upon facts, evidence or reality, it is based upon fear, fantasy and imagination.
It’s pretty clear that this has now created a massive conflict for the future of humanity. Entire nations are now being redirected back to the Dark Ages of stupidstitions. The result is horrifying.
One of my cats killed a baby rabbit today. How fitting for today.
I found a portion of its freshly dead corpse outside. They had eaten the rest. I don’t know which cat was responsible, but it’s something I don’t approve of. They’re well fed but this is the time of year when they go on a killing spree. The snow is gone and they can roam.
Once again, the predictions you’ll read about here are woefully underestimated. But even at these low estimates, this might raise some consternation (and not much else):
In a new study released on March 27, 2017, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) predicts that 31 to 67 percent of Southern California’s beaches may be completely eroded away by the year 2100, based on sea level rise of one to two meters. Once the sand is gone, exposed bedrock may be all that’s left.
Not much in the American news about this, but it is one of the world’s largest humanitarian disasters in history unfolding right now.
There’s very little interest in Western nations to stories like this. The dead and dying go ignored so easily.
I just ate my lunch and looking at the left-overs, I wonder about how we all take food for granted so easily. There are millions of people that don’t.
This is hilarious. It’s a Pew Research poll, that reveals how much Republican and Democrats differ on “science knowledge” and whether or not science is having any impacts on the two different groups:
Picture this: no matter what the science says, or even when these climatic events actually happen – Republicans refuse to change their “beliefs” about climate change.
I’ve poisoned and polluted myself by trying to post a few comments on some of the climate denial articles that have recently come out. I need a shower.
What is very, very clear to me is climate denialists have no grasp of the basic science that has measured global warming. Truly ridiculous and inane arguments are trotted out over and over. None make any sense at all, once you understand the basic science and how the entire “warming” arguments (and evidence) came about. Virtually all of their arguments have been soundly disproved over and over again, but they’re still being used as their defense against global warming.
Here’s some really stupid shit – as if we didn’t all have to choke on this crap already:
Some of you may have seen this already, but it bears watching again and reading the article.
Here’s the really stupid part (if you ask me) that has now come out on this story – there is now a GoFundMe campaign, which has collected $32,000 at last count.
Hurricane events are scary enough, but there idiotsphere of connedspiracy theorists are performing their usual mucking up of the facts. I won’t honor a single one of them with a link, but they’re claiming the usual suspects: Hurricane Matthew is “intentional” and was “steered” for destruction and death. These claims are stupid beyond belief and lack any credible proof whatsoever. Moreover, they offer nothing in terms of “why” except some half-baked connedspiracy theory.
Lets analyze this. Hypocritical man fasts and prays to an the Invisible Sky God for another hypocritical man that wants to be President. Both are rich. Both are famous. Both seek inordinate amounts of attention.
Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world…
Interesting short essay over on Nature Bats Last. I’ve almost never stopped by over there, preferring instead to keep my distance. But I find this post very timely, because I’m feeling exactly the same way. I’ve said what needs to be said and pointed out what needs to be pointed out, but am feeling increasingly frustrated over the near-total defeat of any effective resistance to planetary death or sincere action to combat climate change and the resulting inevitable human extinction. Nothing is working. Nothing is going to change the outcome as far as I can tell. And even though I’m still convinced we should try, I’m really tired. Really, really tired. I can barely bring myself to write anything these days which is why the blog has floundered (again).
If you’ve been waiting for the Blood Moon, Shemitah, God’s Judgement, the September Surprise, or whatever ‘filter’ you routinely apply to unfolding world events, keep waiting. Nothing is going to happen. It’s glaringly obvious that the ‘grand delusion’ is landing dab smack square on the profit [sic] crowd.
Batshit crazy… (facebook video link – oops, it’s now been removed!).
Posted on Tuesday, August 25, 2015
You really should watch this first for context. It’s now been removed, most likely because this idiot is just another false prophet who has always been proven wrong.
This dude is a certifiable crazy nutter. He’s promoting long disproven claims that keep making the rounds in the nutter / connedspiracy circles. He’s not even bothered to fact check anything. If you watch any of his other videos, he’s clearly one of the nutters, although only one video was enough to prove this point.
In numerous posts on this blog, such as More Spew From Connedspiracy Idiots and Morons Unite!, I’ve made the argument that the escalating ‘climate of fear‘ being incubated today in America and within the so-called ‘survivalist’ movement is a deliberate campaign designed to take advantage of people and liberate them from their money.
Salon magazine’s article on Michelle Bachmann Creepy End Time Fantasies is an important read for those who do not yet grasp the dangers of the Republican right’s desire for nuclear Armageddon.
I find it hard to believe that such idiocy has risen to a position of candidacy for the office of the President of the United States (impro-‘bable’ as it may be). But we’ve seen it before in Bush, Reagan and quite a few Cabinet members. There is also the Senate and Congress where the religious fervor to destroy the world and usher in the Second Coming is a heartfelt desire by these deluded idiots.
The profit in chief [sic] spins out more lies:
Somebody silence this moron. While entertaining (if you’re bored), he’s doing a lot of damage to Americans. Selling fear and incessant propaganda, Jones has become the bottom-feeding standard by which all other hucksters and charlatans hope to obtain (including similar riches). He who shouts loudest, is the most belligerent, outrageous and ridiculous “wins” while deluding millions.
Someone sent me this link, knowing that I’d not be able to ‘resist’ a reply. They’re right. But as I’ve said before, nothing I write is permitted to be published anywhere else, so here you are.
If you want to read some (more) ignorant moronic crap from Michael Snyder, check this out.
Of course they won’t publish my comments, but virtually everything written in this article is a total lie. There is NO shortage of food. There is NO rush for orders. There is no September panic. There is NO rush for gold. This is simply yet another ploy by desperate fools to fleece the idiots among us.
