19 Firefighters Die in Arizona Fire

This is horrible news:

The “hotshot” firefighters were forced to deploy their fire shelters — tent-like structures meant to shield firefighters from flames and heat — when they were caught near the central Arizona town of Yarnell, state forestry spokesman Art Morrison told The Associated Press.

The fire started Friday and spread to 2,000 acres on Sunday amid triple-digit temperatures, low humidity and windy conditions. Officials ordered the evacuations of 50 homes in several communities, and later Sunday afternoon, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office expanded the order to include more residents in Yarnell, about 85 miles northwest of Phoenix.

Major Heatwave Ahead – What This Means

Next week is predicted to be a major heat wave in most of the West:

With Siberia experience extreme temperatures and forest fires, you can reasonably expect this to mean more problems in the future for the whole planet.

Cleaning up some old drafts that never got published, but still worthy information:

Over 31 million climate refugees in 2012. Pretty clear that although Americans rarely hear about how bad it really is, is pretty bad out there.  Expect more refugees for 2013.

Climate Disasters Now Unfolding Worldwide with the USA Particularly Affected

There are a number of very serious climate disaster taking place right now. I’m not seeing this information in the main stream media either.

No point in reminding everyone just how incredibly controlled the “news” is within Amerika.

Read it all and weep for your future.

The Future Of Freedom

An interesting article on the quantum computer. Ignoring the emotional appeal may be helpful (which is really a desperate plea).

I don’t often publish anything by Adams for reasons of disagreement with some of the stuff he shovels out, but this technology was / is foreboding.

You should take the time and read it for what it does contain – but don’t panic, which is what I think Adams is after.  Also, read this, “Lesson of the Snowden Revelation – You’re The Target“.

FBI Flies Drones Over Americans

In a not unexpected “revelation”, the FBI admits to spying on Americans with drones:

The FBI uses drones for domestic surveillance purposes, the head of the agency told Congress early Wednesday.

Robert Mueller, the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, confirmed to lawmakers that the FBI owns several unmanned aerial vehicles, but has not adopted any strict policies or guidelines yet to govern the use of the controversial aircraft.

Login Required!

I have enabled blog login (registration required) for all posts and articles on this blog.

This is not in response to the recent NSA “revelations” (which I’ve been aware of and warned for years).

I’ve decided to do this to weed out the undesirable effects of public postings among the shorn sheep. This includes the following:

a) Original material being “stolen” for content, ideas and focus. This is pretty common now.

The Ultimate Enemy

The Ultimate Enemy We Must Take On & Out

By Sibel Edmonds

As the unending back-to-back scandals unfold, from the arrest and prosecution of courageous truth-tellers (aka whistleblowers), to the illegal wiretapping of all Americans, torture, indefinite detentions, the groping and handling of travelers, utilizing the IRS as the government’s hit-men and thugs … I am asked to provide statements, interpretations and/ or explanations as to what it is we are facing as a nation today. Some seek my opinion on what it is we are fighting against; on whom it is we are fighting against. After all, I am that government whistleblower– the one who has been fighting these same enemies and their recurring assaults, one way or another, in courts or congress or executive halls or the media, for twelve years, on and off-and to no avail.

NSA Copies All Internet Data, Creates Dossiers on Every User

NSA Copies All Internet Data, Creates Dossiers on Every User

While this may seem like “news” to others, it’s been reported here and elsewhere, years ago. Oddly, the intent seems to be sure everyone now knows about it.

This will go miles and miles to quench free speech and the willingness to share information. Think “the Internet is dead” and you’ll get a grasp of what this means.

Disarming The United States

I recently read a really terrible piece of advice from the president and CEO of Collapse Network – Disarming the United States, By Wesley T. Miller

It’s rather unbelievable in scope and naivety and obvious ignorance regarding firearms and ownership, the history of firearms or how they have been utilized throughout the world.

This “advice”, was terribly misguided, dangerous, and if followed, will lead to the complete collapse of the remaining freedoms within the United States.

Kelly Kettle Review

I recently added the Kelly Kettle products to my website, after being briefly introduced to this innovative concept of outdoor cooking.

The Kelly Kettle is a double-walled cook stove that rapidly heats up water to boiling.  You can also cook on top of the stove for foods that require a longer cook time or even to fry foods in a pan.

It uses no petroleum based fuels, just stick, twigs, pine cones or whatever combustible material you can find. Since this is always available when hiking or camping, it’s a great idea.

Truth Flood

I’ve lost count of the watered down articles that report what is happening with climate: Global carbon emissions soared to record high in 2012

Read through it, it’s pretty short.  Embedded in the middle you will find this:

Global climate talks are aimed at keeping the temperature rise below 3.6 degrees F compared with pre-industrial levels. The IEA found the world is on track for an increase of from 6.5-9.5 degrees F.

The Cruelty We Do To Animals

If animal welfare concerns you (at all), spend some time reading 13.7 Billion Years.

China is a “featured” country (as in hell on Earth), but the animal cruelty examples are found throughout the entire world.

A few examples I found:

Sealed plastic keychains containing live animals are sold as “novelties”. They die quickly.

Mother sows (pigs) spend their entire lives in tiny cages, unable to move.

America is Dead

When I was young, I spent a lot of time in the wild. Back then, being in the woods was far more real then it is today. There were (far) fewer people and fewer developed trails. There weren’t even any footprints in many of the places I would go.

The gear you carried was ‘primitive’ by today’s high-tech standards. Gore-Tex was unheard of, taffetta nylon was very new (and generally unaffordable). Real hiking boots were 8 lb monsters with Vibram soles and Norwegian welts (does anybody even know what that is anymore?).

Fascism in Amerika

A nice summary by George Monbiot about how unbelievably corrupt the U.S. government and it’s agents have become.

Innocent until proven dead

If – and it remains a big if – this was an extrajudicial execution, it was one of hundreds commissioned by US agencies since Barack Obama first took office. The difference in this case is that it took place on American soil. Elsewhere, suspects are bumped off without even the right to the lawyerless interview Ibragim Todashev was given.

Garden Boxes, Greenhouse Watering Setup

I’ve finished with all the automatic watering systems in the garden boxes and in the greenhouse, here’s a few pictures to share:

I tried both PVC pipe and poly pipe (also called “funny pipe”, really).

I think I wasted my time with the PVC pipe. It will undoubtedly last longer, but the poly pipe is cheap (500′ for $45), easier to install, allows you to bend around things and has a lot of fittings (drippers, sprayers, micro-tubing, hose attachments, etc.) readily available.

The Divine Right of Kings

We are all aware of how our Presidents, Congress and so-called “leaders” declare  themselves as being both sacred and above the law.  Encyclopedic volumes could be filled with real examples of how duplicitous our leaders are.

It’s been this way for years and years.  Many centuries, ever since we created “civilization”. The evil, corrupt ones always rise to a place of preeminence, declaring themselves as the “chosen” and the divine rights to the throne.
